Upper VI Students Take on Nyanga! 🏔️

Our Upper VI Geographers recently returned from an unforgettable 5-day adventure (12–17 March) at Wild Geo in the misty Eastern Highlands. It wasn’t just a trip; it was Geography coming to life!

The Journey Highlights:
Waterfalls & Wonders: While the rain kept us from Mutarazi, the thundering Nyangombe Falls didn't disappoint. We stood at the base of Zimbabwe’s highest peak, Mt. Nyangani, feeling the true scale of the landscape.

Expert Insights: Big thanks to Mr. Masaya from Wild Geo for walking us through the "how and why" of the rivers we see in our textbooks—from braiding to floodplains.

Real-World Geography: We didn't just look at mountains! We studied the Odzi River’s hydropower, local farming shifts, and the challenges of rural land degradation.

From the 1949 roots of the National Park to the modern-day challenges of the Highlands, this trip left us with memories (and case study notes!) to last a lifetime. 📖✨

In total, we earned 3 Exceptional Honors, 2 Outstanding Honors, 5 Distinctions, and 2 Commended grades. 🌟

The adjudication process was challenging but provided valuable insights for our growth. We will continue to work hard and improve the Music Department. Thank you for your support! 🙏
