From competition win to studio recording. 🎶

Halale Primary School recorded their original song after winning the Christmas in Matobo singing competition in December.

Special thanks to Nompumelelo , who wrote the song and guided the learners through the recording.

At EAGLE, we create opportunities where young talent can grow and shine.

At Eagle Learning, we believe education should be active, engaging, and relational.

That’s why we incorporate hands-on activities that get kids moving and outside while also engaging critical thinking and building strong relationships.

In this session, George — one of our instructors for the Level 2 training we are running in collaboration with Equip and Grow — guides learners through an interactive activity focused on teamwork and growth.

When learning is dynamic, confidence grows.

We’ve been quiet — but the mission never stopped.

It’s been just over a year since our last post. In that time, we have reflected, rebuilt, and renewed our commitment to making learning opportunities more accessible in Zimbabwe.

Education remains at the heart of what we do — and we’re ready to reconnect, share impact, and move forward together.

Thank you for being here. This is a new chapter.

We are committed to creating accessible learning opportunities for children and young people in Zimbabwe.

Through mentorship, community support, and educational resources, we believe every learner deserves the opportunity to grow.

Impact may not always be loud — but it matters.

Every mentoring session, every resource shared, every conversation with a learner contributes to a stronger future.

This is the work. This is the impact.

Stay with us as we share more stories.

Stay Positive and Manage Stress.
Maintaining a positive mindset is essential during exam preparation. Stress can be overwhelming, but practising mindfulness or meditation can help you stay calm and focused.
Set aside time each day for relaxation techniques, such as deep breathing exercises or guided meditations. Surround yourself with positive influences, whether it’s supportive friends or uplifting content. A positive attitude enhances your learning experience and helps you navigate challenges more effectively.

Remember, it’s okay to seek help if you’re feeling overwhelmed. Your mental well-being is just as important as your academic success.

Thembalezizwe Learning Group had a blast during their recent community cleanup campaign! 🎉 They put their books aside, rolled up their sleeves, picked up litter, and transformed their neighborhood into a cleaner, brighter place. It sure was a fantastic way to bond and show that teamwork makes the dream work! 🌟 Their energy and enthusiasm are contagious!

Let us continue this positive impact and be caring contributors in our communities! 💪

"The EAGLE program has significantly improved my learning and skills. The topics covered align with my school's (ZIMSEC) curriculum, allowing me to study and prepare in advance or revise after lessons. One of the most valuable activities has been studying the Bible through the discipleship program, which has enhanced my understanding and personal growth. I've noticed a slight increase in my confidence and motivation as a learner, particularly in my academic studies. However, I believe the program could be even better with the addition of more subjects and lessons." – Tom Quinton Junior Spantom (Thembalezizwe Learning Group)

Create a Study Schedule.
Creating a study schedule is one of the most effective ways to manage your time and ensure you cover all necessary material before exams. A well-structured schedule helps you allocate specific time slots for each subject, interspersed with breaks to avoid burnout.

Consider using a planner or digital calendar to visualise your study sessions. For example, dedicate mornings to maths and afternoons to science, including short breaks for snacks and relaxation. Consistency is key; a routine can help train your brain to focus during study times.

By sticking to a schedule, you’ll enhance your productivity and reduce anxiety as you know exactly what you need to accomplish each day.

We believe that education is more than just academics. Socio-Emotional Learning (SEL) is a key part of what we do, helping learners grow in self-awareness, empathy, and decision-making. In Zimbabwe, where unique economic and social challenges impact education, SEL is especially important.

We’re excited to continue supporting teachers through advanced training and resources, empowering both learners and mentors to navigate life’s challenges with courage and care. We’re grateful for our partner who’s providing valuable resources as we continue advanced training.

"I met the EAGLE mentor in my community who invited me to join the program. My overall experience with the EAGLE program has been good and fun. The program has improved my grades since the second term. We've been taught to not discriminate and to be faithful, which I consider most valuable. The EAGLE program has significantly influenced my confidence and motivation as a learner. Since starting the program, I've been learning to control my temper, as I was a bit aggressive. I would like the program to include competitions in quiz games between different groups." - Prince Ndlovu (Thembalezizwe Learning Group)
