Rusununguko High School

In May 2004 I was transferred from Arcturus High to Rusununguko High. Little did I know that I was to stay there for the greater part of my adult life. Rusununguko had become my other home. We had our successes and indeed challenges, and, we thank God for everything.
On 9 January 2020 I was officially transferred from Rusununguko to Goromonzi High after the Head of Ministry approved our PED's recommendation. I am grateful to the Ministry for showing confidence in me and I salute all pupils, teachers and parents of Rusununguko High for the their support throughout my stint at the school. I shall forever remember the unity of purpose exhibited during my stay at Rusununguko. We conquered many territories together as a result. May God bless you abundantly.

Rusununguko High School is receiving the Secretary's Merit Award on Wednesday 31 October 2018 from 0900 -1330hrs. The Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education Dr Sylivia Utete Masango will be our guest of honour. You are urged to take advantage of this function to visit your child on the day. In view of the cholera outbreak visitors will be expected to comply with our health standards which include washing of hands and no shaking of hands at any time before, during and after the function. Parents should not bring fresh cooked food, fast foods, fruits, cereals or noodles. All drinks must be sealed. Searches will be conducted at the school entrance. Kindly cooperate with security and health personnel. You will be permitted to see your child after the function. Since ZIMSEC exams will be in progress we will not expect unnecessary movement and noise. Please take note that Min of Health has not yet lifted suspension of visiting days. Rusununguko High

Parents Guardians

Due to cholera outbreak, be advised that visiting and prize giving scheduled for Saturday 6 October 2018 has been cancelled. We apologise for any inconveniences caused.
However tuck will be collected in Harare on Saturday 6 October 2018 from 0800hrs - 1200hrs venue OK third street near Duly's. No fresh /cooked food/ fast foods, fruits, cereals, noodles.
All drinks must be sealed.
Have a written check list of the items you bring and
well labelled bags/boxes. Pocket money in envelopes to be sealed after checking.
NB: Please do not come to the school. These and other measures have been put in place to make sure that we stay safe from the outbreak.

Our top A Level 2017 achievers Charles Soda and Wibert Mbiza who scored 23 and 28 points respectively coming position 14 and 3 out of over 49000 candidates who wrote the exam in Zimbabwe. Well done guys. We salute you. You have once again put us on the map in line with our vision: "To be the school of choice nationally and internationally."
