The 2026 Inter-school athletics and chess competition for Zone 4 in Ndola was held at 1 commando unit.
Tug-Argan Secondary school came out first, out of 12 secondary schools that participated.

2026 Inter-house Athletics competition
Friday, 20th February 2026
The school held it's inter-house athletics competition today. The event started with teachers' races for female and male teachers.
Pupils from the four houses; Kafue, Luangwa, Luapula and Zambezi competed in various track and field events such as 100m, 200m, 5,000m, etc.
Other events were field events like high jump, shot put, discus and javelin. It was a marvel to watch relays, among them, 1 x 100m, 4 x 400m and mixed doubles.
As the event came to an end, a school team was formed and trophies were presented. Luapula house got the first position, Zambezi got the second position, Kafue got the third position and Luapula got the fourth position.
The selected pupils will represent the school during the Inter-school athletics competition to be held the following week.
Scores of residents, especially the kids were intertwined, and could be seen dancing to songs played.

12th March 2025 saw parents and guardians of pupils at Tug-Argan Secondary School meet at the Warrant Officers and Sergeants Mess.
Parents and teachers started arriving from around 09 00 hours, and where ushered in by the school Prefects led by the Headboy Timothy Shawa and Head girl Lidesy Mumba.
By 10 00 hours, the venue was full and the meeting started with attendees singing the National Anthem and a prayer by Mr Chrispine Ng'andwe.
WoI Musonda C. welcomed the parents to the meeting, after which the acting Headteacher, Mr William Mumba gave a school report highlighting the progress made, the challenges and the possible way forward to address the challenges. He also told the parents of the new curriculum which needed their support.
Thereafter, parents gave their reactions to the report and further gave their suggestions.
The acting Deputy Headteacher, Mr David Banda also briefed the parents about the financial position and how parents were expected to be instrumental in helping the school access CDF funding.
Mr Kalungwe Chilufya, acting HOD - Mathematics led a team of electoral officers who conducted elections to usher in the new Parents Teachers Committee (PTC).
The meeting ended just after 13 00 with a prayer given by Mrs Judith Simatele, one of the elected committee members.
