The start of this year was crazy! Here is a summary of what we were up to!

This photo was taken when I was back in New Zealand last. I am so excited to share that I will be coming back to NZ at the end of May until the beginning of July! It will have been almost two and a half years since I have been home to see my family, friends and reconnect with my church family. I am so excited and counting down the days, although this also makes me nervous because we have some big projects to execute between now and then.

I hope to catch up with many people when I am back, so if you are around in June and would like to see me, let me know when works best for you and I will put it on the calendar. While 6 weeks seems like a long time, with family and friends spread quite literally across the whole country I will be trying my best to get everywhere and see everyone, but it will probably take some good planning.

Anyway, as always, I am privileged to be loved and supported by so many people and really cant wait to see you again soon!

Beyond Ourselves Zambia is in the paper! Woohoo, mumma I made it. Pretty encouraging and exciting read if you have the time. If not, basically just says we are awesome. Thanks for coming!

Because I post so often of the fun part about my job, I figured it would only be right to share with you how I actually sped about 90% of my time. Emails, letters, documents, spreadsheets, maps, logistics and receipts. 🤦🏼‍♀️🤩🤪 live laugh love my job

Just another 17 hour day in the books 🤦🏼‍♀️
5:30 start meant beautiful sunrise over the Kariba Dam.
Popo caught me speeding and let me off. I think they wanted a little something on the side but I had no cash lol
Brake pad = finished so had to take my car into the workshop. Needed new tyres too. RIP bank $$
Had a work meeting while the car was at the mechanic and then went to lunch and bubble tea with Esther ❤️
Another 7 hours driving this afternoon/evening.
Reunited with Kiwi 🤩

Hello everyone!
I accidentally missed a couple months so I have a double whammy this month. Hope you enjoy reading about the chaos that has been life lately!

Thank for your ongoing support and love.

Hello Friends and family,

I have exciting news!! After 3 and half years of staying in Zambia I am committing to making it my long term home. With this decision comes need to raise a more sustainable support base to be able to continue to serve this community.

While I need more monthly financial support, I also have a dream to be able to become more financially independent long term.... And a great way of doing this has been presented to me by opportunity of purchasing a property here in the community of Baluba. This property includes:

· A small cottage where I can live and continue ministering long-term

· A mission guest house (4 bedrooms) to host visiting missionaries, outreach teams, and volunteers. (This could generate some income to offset the costs of the property and allow for further investment)

· Open space for youth gatherings, Bible studies, sports, and discipleship events

· Farm land and infrastructure for me to have some youth who have completed the foundational farming course work on the property to generate a small source of income.

· This has the opportunity to be a place of safety, relationship, and restoration for the young people and communities I serve.

Because I am unable to get a traditional mortgage from the banks, and unable to access Kiwi Saver for this purchase I’m trusting God to make it happen.

Would you be part of it?
