Why are we treating PU in Zambia as if it is a new policy? For your information PU has never been optional in Zambian schools. Infact it was booming in the past than today.
The other thing is on practical subjects like carpentry and joinery, metal fabrication ,brick laying and plastering ,Cookery, tailoring. Art ,These things are not new in Zambian schools, but we talk as if we are the first people who are working to implement these policies. No my brothers and sisters people before as had the same intentions we have today,KK went to an extent of providing all sorts of machines for wood and metal work.these were schools built after independence 1966 and 67. Finland donated tools to nearly all the primary schools in Zambia in the 1980s. If you read Eccles 1:10 (there is nothing new under the sun which someone can say, come and see ! It was there during our forefathers) Our question should be how best can we do it this time? First we can even consult the ruminates .Don't think we are the best, Because I'm already seeing some elements of failure and don't worry we will not be the first to fail.
