During the Opening Mass, the Parish Priest, Fr Patrick Kambombi, advised learners using the example of a bag. He explained that a bag contains different items, and then challenged learners to think about what they carry in their “other bag,” referring to their character and morals.

He encouraged learners that apart from packing physical items in their bags, they should also fill their lives with good morals and values such as kindness, generosity, love, gentleness, integrity, honesty, and respect. He further emphasized the importance of avoiding bullying, stealing, and other bad habits.

Fr Patrick Kambombi also encouraged learners to follow the good teachings and guidance given both by the school and their parents. He urged them not to engage in activities that promote bad morals and negative behavior.

The Headteacher concluded by wishing all learners a successful term and encouraged them to continue loving one another, caring for each other, doing good, and working hard in everything they do, especially in their academics.

The Headteacher warmly welcomed all learners back to school and encouraged them to remain disciplined, focused, and committed to good morals throughout the term.
She emphasized the importance of always wearing the school uniform whenever learners are going out for any school-related program, including when reporting back to school.

Additionally, she advised learners on the importance of caring for one another by showing love, gentleness, kindness, and respect. She encouraged them to be their sister’s keeper by supporting, caring for, and encouraging one another to do good things at all times.

The Headteacher also spoke on the importance of going to the dining hall and eating warm meals provided by the school. In line with this, she strongly advised learners to refrain from getting or taking what does not belong to them, especially when food is available and properly provided in the dining hall.

Furthermore, she congratulated learners who will be receiving awards for their outstanding performance, discipline, and good morals as expected by the school.

She also encouraged learners to make proper use of study time, especially evening prep, where unnecessary movements should be avoided in order to improve academic performance.

In addition, she reminded learners about the importance of prayer before engaging in any activity, such as before sleeping, before lessons begin, upon waking up, and during other daily activities.
