BOX OF TOMATOES DROOPED BECAUSE OF 45% AT RIGHT CHOICE INSTITUTE

Last week, Ba SHADRECK from MUNSAKAMBA came to Right Choice Institute with a bucket of tomatoes and a notebook.

RECEPTIONIST: "Good morning daddy, how can we help you?"
BA SHADRECK "I heard on radio that Right Choice is giving 45% OFF for Food and Crop Production this September intake. Is it true or it’s just Facebook lies?" 🤭🤭🤭

RECEPTIONIST: "Yes it’s true sir. 45% off tuition for Food and Crop Production. Plus you’ll also do Applied Entrepreneurship and Computer lessons as supplementary subjects."

BA SHADRECK dropped his bucket. _Thud._
Ba Shadreck: "Wait wait... So you’re telling me I can learn how to plant better maize, how to SELL that maize for profit, AND how to use a computer to advertise it on WhatsApp... all with 45% off?"

He started doing math on the back of his fertilizer receipt.
"45% off... That means I save money to buy more seed. Entrepreneurship means I stop selling to middlemen. Computer means I stop writing prices on a cardboard and start posting on Facebook Marketplace!"

Then he looked serious and said:
_"This is dangerous. If my fellow farmers hear about this, next year there will be no tomatoes at the market because everyone will be exporting on the computer."_ 😂🤣🤣

He paid his registration there and then.
His last words before leaving: _"Please reserve me a seat. And WiFi password. I need to go and teach my chickens how to do online business too." 🤣🤣🤣

THE "AFTER ELECTIONS" ADMISSION STORY

So the just ended elections, a guy called Mr. Banda walked into Right Choice Institute Hours_after_ Zambia’s general elections.

He was sweating, wearing a chi oversize campaign t-shirt that still had "Vote For Me" on it, and carrying a folder full of flyers.

RECEPTIONIST: "Good morning sir, how can we help you?"
MR. BANDA: _catches breath grabs a fruit punch brought brought by students for tasting 🤣🤣🤣
_ "Awe mwebantu... I’m done with politics. It’s finished. I need a skill now."

RECEPTIONIST: "Which program are you interested in?"
MR. BANDA: "Anything! But not Public Speaking. I’ve done enough of that. 5 rallies a day for 3 months."
He then pointed at our prospectus and said:
"Give me Food Production, Agriculture, or Computer Lessons. Something where I can sit, drink tea, and people come to ME for once." 😂

He explained that during campaigns he promised people jobs, boreholes, and tarred roads na rail line 🤭🤭🤭.

Now that elections were over, people have started camping at _his_ house asking "Bwana, where is the job?"
His exact words: _"At Right Choice, I want to learn a skill so that NEXT time I’m the one asking people for jobs."_

He has now enrolled for Food Production because it comes with Introduction to Computers and Applied Entrepreneurship as complimentary subjects.
Apa so as I am writing he is from calling that his SON has stollen his acceptance letter ati whoever reports first get to be admitted since he is JUNIOR 🤣🤣🤣.

MORAL OF THE STORY:

THE GREAT SHAWARMA ESCAPE 😂🐔🌯

So there I was... 9pm. Cravings hit harder than ZESCO when it comes back.

I ordered chicken shawarma. Big one. Extra garlic sauce.

Delivery guy arrives looking traumatized. Opens the bag and... the wrap is empty. Garlic sauce everywhere. Chicken? GONE.

Me: "Bro where's the chicken??"
Him: "Uncle, it escaped."
Me: "...CHICKEN ESCAPED??"
Him: "Yes! From Munsakamba farm, to the grill, to the shawarma, to FREEDOM. It was a village chicken. You know they went to _Right Choice Institute_ for 'How to Avoid Being Dinner 101'." 😭🤭🫣

Turns out that chicken graduated top of its class. Meanwhile my shawarma graduated with zero chicken.

That’s when I realized: If the chicken can go to school to escape, I can go to school to actually cook it properly.

So I enrolled at Right Choice Institute.
Now I make shawarma that DOESN'T file for divorce mid-delivery.
I learned knife skills, food safety, customer service, and how to convince chicken to stay in the wrap 😂
