National JETS Fair which took place in Lusaka from 7th to 11th September, 2026.
Our school was represented by two members. Makuwa presented his project on Online Voting and our Head Girl presented on Biology Questions. The fair had over 600 learners from all provinces with the theme "PROMOTING INNOVATION AND COMPETENCE DEVELOPMENT IN STEM EDUCATION."

At the end of the fair, Southern Province got first position and Northern Province got position seven.
We congratulate Southern Province and we are proud that Northern Province made it to top seven.
We thank you for the support you gave us and we promise to work harder next year.

PICTURE OF THE WEEK 📸
Not only our words and actions, but our thoughts, make up the picture of what we are. Then let every soul be good and do good. Let the picture made of you be one of which you will not be ashamed.
This means that every learner must not only look good in uniform, but also think good, speak good, and do good. The real picture of a learner is not just the photo we take, but the character they show at assembly and in class.

As the Media Team, we have learned that our duty is bigger than taking pictures. We are the storytellers of Mbala Central Day Secondary School . Our pictures must speak for the school even when we are not there to explain them.
We are not just photographers, we are historians of our school.
leadership has helped us to understand that every picture must have a story.

Pupils were given an important message about Gender-Based Violence (GBV) through a powerful poem.
The poem told a story about the pain and suffering caused by violence and abuse. It showed how GBV can affect victims emotionally, physically, and socially. Through the poem, pupils were reminded that violence is never the right way to solve problems.
