Topgrade Academy: Committed to Holistic Child Development

At Topgrade Academy, we are dedicated to providing quality education that nurtures the whole child. This week has been filled with engaging activities aimed at discovering and developing learners’ diverse talents, while strengthening a safe and supportive learning environment.

Learners participated in inter-school sports tournaments in football, netball, chess, and volleyball, promoting teamwork, discipline, and resilience.

A key highlight was learners’ attendance at the largest Entrepreneurship Symposium in Southern Province this year thus far - The Rise Launchpad-. They had the privilege of interacting with Mr. Jito Kayumba - Advisor to The President of The Republic of Zambia-, Mr. Ian Makwanza - a prominent entrepreneurial youth-, and other speakers, gaining valuable insights on investment, resilience, and personal growth. The symposium’s theme encouraged a shift from being job seekers to becoming creators and business owners—an inspiring message that bridged classroom learning with real-world experience. The pupils' attendance of the event was an attempt to not only produce book smart pupils, but also problem solvers, global citizens, suited to tackle 21stC needs as is the school's vision.
