Mwewa Mwape, Graduate Bsc. Environmental Health with distinction.
Born and raised in the tourist capital of Zambia, Livingstone.
I did my primary school at Dambwa primary and secondary at St. Raphael's secondary school.
I didn't have a specific field of study I wanted to persue when I complete my grade twelve. I was interested in many fields of study due to my curiosity. I was passionate about fields that deal with Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and Physic.
It was until early 2018 when I saw and indirectly experienced the effects of cholera on the community around, families and the economy that I started thinking seriously about what field of study I should persue to prevent such diseases. The following year COVID-19 started. That fueled my passion to even think critically about what field of study would be effective to equip me with the knowledge and skills necessary to prevent such diseases and minimize their effect on the public. The field that came to mind was no other than the field of Public Health.
That's how my passion for disease prevention started.

I am proudly from Zambian and my journey has been built on determination, leadership, creativity, and service to others. From being a student with a vision to becoming a graduate and student leader at The University of Zambia Ridgeway Campus, every step has shaped me into the person I am today.
Beyond academics, I have always believed in using my skills and platforms to make an impact. During my time at the University of Zambia School of Public Health Students Association (UNZASOPHSA), I served as Publicity Secretary in 2024 where I used creativity and communication to engage students and promote the associationโs activities.
In 2025, I was honored to serve as President of UNZASOPHSA, leading and representing students from the School of Public Health. This experience strengthened my passion for leadership, teamwork, student welfare, and service.
Apart from leadership, I am also a graphic designer and founder of Epix Creations Zone, a creative brand focused on innovation and excellence in Graphic Design. Through design, entrepreneurship, and digital creativity, I have continued to inspire young people to believe in their talents and build something meaningful for themselves.
As a student Environmental Health Officer, I have also remained passionate about environmental health awareness and community engagement, using my knowledge and creativity to educate and positively impact others.
My journey has taught me that greatness does not begin with perfection, it begins with consistency, humility, and the courage to keep going even when the road is tough.
To every student out there, your background does not define your future. Stay focused, trust God, work hard, and never stop believing in your vision.
Thee Epikaizo
Equal to the Task๐
