Day 78 of the 100 Days of Productivity Activism
YOUR PHONE IS EITHER YOUR BIGGEST EMPLOYER OR YOUR BIGGEST DESTROYER
The same phone can:
Teach you a skill,
Market your business,
Connect you to opportunities,
Make you money,
or quietly waste your time, focus, and future.
Some people are building income with their phones.
Others are only consuming entertainment.
Check your screen time honestly.
It exposes your priorities.
Your phone is not the problem.
How you use it is.

Day 73 of the 100 Days of Productivity Activism
STOP waiting for employment when your skill can employ you and others.
On Friday 15th May, after a long productive day, we experienced what real productivity looks like.
A presentation TV with a broken screen was taken back to the shop where it was bought from. They refused to repair it. Fortunately, one of the workers quietly gave us a phone number and said, “Call this man.”
That call led us to Martin’s small workshop.
We took the TV there and the rest is history.
Martin does not have formal training in electronics, yet he has mastered the skill of repairing appliances through experience, commitment, and continuous learning. I was so impressed by his confidence, his workmanship, and his determination to create opportunities for himself instead of sitting and complaining.
As we talked, Sylvia B Mwansa shared with him the opportunity of acquiring formal certification through Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). Imagine the power of skilled people already doing excellent work being formally recognized and certified for what they already know.
As a TEVET Institution, moments like this makes us proud because this is exactly what mindset change and productivity look like in action.
Martin reminded us that skills are wealth.
From today, we already know where our gas stoves and many other appliances are going for repair.
To every person with a skill:
Please stop underestimating yourself.
Start where you are.
Use what you have.
Improve your craft.
Create value.
Employ yourself.
Employ others.
That is true productivity.
Mindset Change is Possible.

Exactly 30 days to go. Join us🙌🏾🥳
Today, we reflected on a very special and affirming engagement Sylvia B Mwansa attended on Tuesday, 12th May.
She participated in a stakeholders’ meeting organized by the Ministry of Community Development and Social Services focused on creating sustainable wealth creation opportunities for vulnerable communities supported by the World Bank.
One key message stood out clearly for her:
Poverty reduction and wealth creation are possible when Government, cooperating partners, and communities begin to think PRODUCTIVITY.
Real transformation happens when empowerment programmes, funding initiatives, skills development, and mindset change are aligned toward helping people move from dependency to economic productivity.
What impressed her the most was the deliberate conversation around TIME KEEPING and POSITIVE STRATEGY FRAMING.
Because words matter.
If a phrase weakens hope, reposition it with possibility and purpose.
For example:
Instead of “Jobs for the Poor”
Why not “Wealth Creation Opportunities”?
That is mindset change.
That Tuesday morning began with the Free Mentorship Academy from 08:00 to 08:30 hours. From there, I intentionally positioned myself among the first people in the room by 08:50 for a 09:00 meeting start.
As she reflected on a story, she recently read about a 3-minute train delay in Japan where apology certificates were issued to passengers, I smiled quietly and thought:
“Yes… this is the right mindset.”
Time is not just about clocks.
Time is respect.
Time is discipline.
Time is productivity.
Let us become intentional.
Let us become dependable.
Let us become productive.
Because mindset change is possible.
