Verse of the night

Isaiah 10:1-2 NKJV the bible says
> “Woe to those who decree unrighteous decrees, Who write misfortune, Which they have prescribed. To rob the needy of justice, And to take what is right from the poor of My people, That widows may be their prey, And that they may rob the fatherless.

*Not Only Should we read the Bible, but we must also pray (Part 9)*

Prayer Theme: Praying against the Spirit of Sexual Immorality.

I welcome you all to today's teaching and prayer in Jesus name.

Prayer point 1
let's thank God for today..

Prayer point 2
Next we are going to ask God to forgive us for any sin which we have committed. Sins which have pushed us away from God.. if you can mention that sin to God as you pray.

Today by the leading of the Holy spirit we will pray against the spirit of sexual immorality. But before we start praying we need to understand why we should pray against this Spirit..

When we look in the Bible we will see that people who allowed this spirit to rule them opened bad doors in their lives. Who are these people?

1. S***m and Gomorrah – Genesis 19:1-29. The cities of S***m and Gomorrah were destroyed by fire and brimstone because of rampant sexual immorality, including homosexuality and other sins (Genesis 19:5).

- These people opened a door of Judgment: God rained down fire and sulfur, destroying the cities completely.

2. Joseph and Potiphar’s Wife – Genesis 39:7-20. Potiphar’s wife tried to seduce Joseph, but he refused and fled.

- What was the result after: Joseph was falsely accused and imprisoned, though he remained righteous

- If this spirit is not dealt with in the church it may cause false accusations against righteous members of the church..

3. The Spirit of immorality can cause idolatry. In Colossians 3:5 the bible says– "Put to death therefore what is earthly in you: sexual immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry."

- Idolatry is worshiping or valuing anything more than God.

- What evidence do we have in the bible of this spirit causing idolatry..

- First we have Solomon’s Many Wives – 1 Kings 11:1-11 King Solomon had 700 wives and 300 concubines, many of whom led him into idolatry.

- What was opened in his life and family: God tore the kingdom apart after Solomon’s death.

- Second evidence. The Sin of the Israelites with Moabite Women – Numbers 25:1-9. The Israelites engaged in sexual immorality with Moabite women, leading to idolatry.

- What door was opened: A plague broke out, killing 24,000 people.

- Family it is true that this Spirit is responsible for causing sexually transmitted diseases and it can also cause spiritual transmitted diseases like delays, hardships and missing out breakthrough e.t.c..

4. David and Bathsheba – 2 Samuel 11-12 King David committed adultery with Bathsheba and had her husband Uriah killed to cover it up.

- Results:. You will see that when David allowed this spirit to rule over him it opened doors of problems in his life as well as his family.

6. It can also bring Shame and Disgrace like Amnon and Tamar – 2 Samuel 13

- Amnon r***d his half-sister Tamar, then rejected her.

- The results of this : Tamar was disgraced, and her brother Absalom killed Amnon in revenge.

This bible in 1 Corinthians 6:15-20 (NKJV) says
> Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and make them members of a harlot? Certainly not!Or do you not know that he who is joined to a harlot is one body with her? For “the two,” He says, “shall become one flesh.”But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him.

Then Paul says in verse 18
> Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?

Now let's pause a minute just imagine your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. The One whom God has sent to help us in all things. The same Spirit who is supposed to lead us to our room of Rehoboth this year 2025 what will happen if we defile His dwelling place? Just imagine..

With this understanding family we have seen what the Spirit of immorality can bring in our lives if we do not deal with it..

Prayer point 1
By the blood of Jesus we bind the spirit of sexual immorality among us as House of prayer..

Prayer point 2
We cover with the blood of Jesus Every entry points of the Spirit of immorality on each and every person in your family.

Prayer points 3.
1 Thessalonians 4:3-5 the bible says– "For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you abstain from sexual immorality; that each one of you knows how to control his own body in holiness and honor."

Family we need to know how to control our own bodies in holiness and honor.

Just imagine Job made a personal decision (a "covenant") to avoid lustful thoughts by controlling his eyes. Job 31:1 (NKJV).

So we will pray our last prayer point.

Oh God my father teach each one of us how to control our bodies in holiness and honor for you in Jesus name Aman

Understanding God's Truth

Have you ever wondered why some people may be able to understand God's truth while others can't?

Jesus Said in Mark 4:11-12 :
“To you it has been given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God; but to those who are outside, all things come in parables, so that "Seeing they may see and not perceive,And hearing they may hear and not understand;

Then verse 12 the last thing He says is.
Lest they should turn, And their sins be forgiven them."

People of God, we see here that only those who were close to jesus were given to know the mysteries of the Kingdom of God and not those who were outside (the unbelievers those who hardened their hearts.)

Being close to Jesus means to have a relationship with Jesus. Like the disciples we should walk with Jesus daily..

Today God is saying that He reveals truth to those who are humble and willing but hides it from those who reject Him like the Pharisees. Jesus’ parables were a way to reach those with open hearts while allowing the proud and self-righteous to remain blind by their own choice.

Prayer points
1. Almighty God teach me how to open my heart to your truth in Jesus name.

2. Father in Heaven as I seek you and follow you, review to me the mysteries of your Kingdom in Jesus name.

⚠️ *Warning Against Leading Others into Sin⚠️*

Greetings to you all in the name of Jesus Christ. Today, we will learn about the importance of not leading others into sin.

Our key verse for this teaching is from Genesis 3:1 (NKJV):
> "Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, ‘Has God indeed said, “You shall not eat of every tree of the garden”?’"

In Genesis, we learn that the serpent caused Eve to sin by corrupting her good mind with doubt. Because of this, the serpent, which was once the most beautiful and admired of all creatures, was demoted to being the most feared and hated by both man and beast.

Today, God is reminding us that, just like the serpent, there are those who knowingly or unknowingly give themselves over to the devil to corrupt the minds of others.

Like the serpent, they say, “Has the Word of God really said you can’t do this or that?”
Like the serpent, they lead lives that do not sin into sin.
Like the serpent, they cunningly influence good minds to turn toward sinful actions.

With their words, they claim, “It’s alright; you will not die.”
With their words, they normalize sin by saying, “Everyone does it,” causing others to abandon a Holy life, which is pleasing to God.

God is warning us today: just as the serpent was cursed for leading Eve into sin, so will God punish anyone who causes others to fall into sin.

Jesus Himself said:
> "Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were drowned in the depth of the sea." (Matthew 18:6, NKJV)

Family, through this message, God is reminding us to never lead innocent minds away from Him. Like Eve, there are people who do not fully understand the consequences of sinful actions. When we influence others to do wrong, we may lead them to eternal separation from God.

Let us, therefore, be careful not to be the reason someone turns away from God. Instead, let us lead others closer to Him, as Scripture encourages:
> "Therefore let us stop passing judgment on one another. Instead, make up your mind not to put any stumbling block or obstacle in the way of a brother or sister." Romans 14:13 (NIV)

Prayer Points

1. Oh God Almighty, have mercy on me. Help me never to lead anyone away from You, but rather, may I lead them closer to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

2. Father, grant me the wisdom to be a light in this world and a positive influence to others for your purpose. Amen.

Not only should we read the Bible, but we must also pray (Part 8)

This afternoon family our prayer is coming from *Galatians 3:13 NKJV*

*The bible says*
Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”)

*Prayer point*
1. Father, in the name of Jesus, let there be confusion in the midst of every committee or gathering that sets up evil laws against me.

2. Jesus, Let those laws that are contrary to me, my marriage, my children, or any area of my life be rendered powerless and ineffective. Cause their plans to fail, and scatter their gatherings in Jesus' name.

3. Oh Jesus, by the power of Your blood, which You shed for me, redeem me from every curse of the law.

4. In the name of Jesus I break every chain and nullify any ordinance standing against me, for Jesus Christ has paid the ultimate price for my freedom. Aman

How unchecked emotions can lead to sin.

The bible in *Genesis 4:8 NKJV* says..

Now Cain talked with Abel his brother; and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother and killed him.

You see, in the story of Cain, his anger and jealousy grew unchecked. Leading him to kill is only brother.. if you don't check your emotions you might end up committing sin.

One life example I can use is as follows;
- You work hard on a project, but your colleague takes credit for your efforts during a meeting. You feel angry and resentment bubbling up.

- If you allow this anger to grow unchecked. You will start gossiping about your colleague to others, spreading negative comments about their character. You can even sabotage their work out of revenge..

Family, it’s important to manage your emotions. Don’t suppress them, but learn to respond in a way that reflects God’s wisdom and love

Prayer point..
1. Oh God almighty through your Holy Spirit teach me how to manage my emotions in a way which will reflect your wisdom and love, in Jesus Christ name Aman 🙏

I hope you are blessed by this message...

*IN THE LAST DAYS*

Good morning, family. I greet you all in the name of Jesus Christ.

Today, we begin another series of digging deeper into the Word of God called "*In the Last Days.*"

Our main verse for the entire series comes from 2 Timothy 3:1-9, but for part one of this series, we will focus on verses 1 and 2.

> 2 Timothy 3:1-2 (NKJV) says: "But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy."

Family, the first indication of these last days is that they will be dangerous—days of great stress, hard to deal with, and difficult to bear.

One may ask, "Why will these days be hard?"

The first reason the Bible gives is that people will be lovers of themselves.
But why is this bad? To answer this question, let us first understand what it means to be "lovers of themselves."

"*Lovers of themselves*" means being selfish and caring only about yourself, with little or no love for others or God.

For example:
A simple illustration of being a "lover of oneself" is when someone has extra food but refuses to share it with a hungry person, even though they don’t need it all. Instead of thinking about others, they focus only on their own.

Here are more examples of loving yourself behavior:

1. Refusing to Share: Keeping all your snacks for yourself, even when your friend is hungry.

2. Ignoring Someone in Need.

3. Taking Credit: Claiming credit for a group project, even though others worked hard to contribute.

4. Gossiping to Feel Superior: Talking badly about others to make yourself seem better.

5. Skipping Responsibility: Leaving your mess for others to clean because you don’t feel like doing it.

Why is this bad according to the Bible?

Being a "lover of oneself" is bad because it leads to selfishness, pride, and neglecting God’s commandments to love Him and others.

The Bible teaches that true love focuses on serving and caring for others, not just ourselves.

In Matthew 22:37-39, Jesus says the two greatest commandments are:

1. To love God with all your heart.
2. To love your neighbor as yourself.

When people only love themselves, they often ignore these commands, leading to behaviors like greed, arrogance, and a lack of compassion.

Then What causes a person to be a lover of themselves?
A person may become a "lover of themselves" for several reasons, such as:

1. Pride: Thinking they are better or more important than others.

2. Fear or Insecurity: Focusing on themselves to protect or validate their worth.

3. Materialism: Valuing possessions, success, or appearance over relationships and spiritual growth.

4. Influence of Society: Modern culture often promotes self-centeredness with messages like "put yourself first" or "you deserve everything."

5. Lack of Love or Guidance: Growing up without experiencing genuine love or being taught values like humility and compassion.

But the main root cause is forgetting or rejecting God. When people turn away from God’s guidance, they rely on themselves, seeking satisfaction in their own desires rather than in serving God and others (Romans 1:21-25).

Family, being a lover of oneself is listed among the traits that turn people away from God, emphasizing how it disrupts relationships and spiritual growth.

If God has spoken to you through this message, pray that He helps your heart not to become a lover of yourself. May God increase your love for Him and for others in Jesus' name. Amen.
