Important Update for Students Regarding U.S. Travel and Visas

Starting January 1, 2026, Zambia will be placed under partial travel restrictions to the United States, and certain U.S. visa categories will be temporarily paused. The U.S. government has stated that this decision is based on elevated visa overstay rates.

We understand that this news may feel stressful or uncertain, and we want you to know that you are not alone. Your goals, education, and future matter deeply to us, and we remain fully committed to supporting you through this situation.

As international students, you bring valuable perspectives, talent, and cultural richness to every academic community you join. Universities and colleges in the United States recognize this and continue to value and welcome international students and their contributions.
