Camp at the beautiful Changwena Falls and scramble through one of the biggest bat caves in Southern Africa to reach the summit of Mount Mumpu Welume in the North Swaka Forest in Mkushi. For those who would like to push themselves further, join us on a 16km hike to Fort Elwes, a National monument from the colonial era perched in between two hills and hidden in pristine Miombo Woodland close to the Congo pedicle.

Great advice

You don’t need running gears to start! When I did my first full marathon, I wasn’t using any running shoes. It was a pair of sport shoes that I bought many years ago just because it was on promotion. That was the only pair of shoes I had. Yes, my feet were in pain after the run because it didn’t give a solid sole. I didn’t have a watch to track my heart rate - my trainings previously were just solely based on how the body feels. I didn’t push, I was always running at my comfortable pace. I’m not saying that you don’t need running gears. It’s just that if you want to run and you don’t have any gears, you can still start and train your runs - it’s possible as long as you’re willing to do it and be consistent with it! And when you plan to take your runs more seriously, of course it’s best to learn more about getting the right running gears for yourself if you feel that it’s a good investment. #runningmotivation #runningnewbie #runninginspiration #healthylifestyle #healthyhabits
