🎓 SLC Graduation Ceremony 2025 🎉

On December 5th, we came together for a joyful and memorable graduation ceremony celebrating two special milestones — the graduation of our Reception Class and our Grade 7 learners.

Our PTA Chairperson, Mr Bungula alongside our director, Mrs Lwenje, congratulated the graduates on their achievements and encouraged them to remain focused, disciplined and confident as they take the next steps in their learning journey. He expressed gratitude to the teachers for their dedication, the parents for their unwavering support, and the learners for making the school proud. Mr Bungula also reminded the Grade 7 graduates that they are ambassadors of the school and should carry its values wherever they go.

The day was also filled with fun, rhythm and excitement as learners showcased their talents through a variety of performances. The audience was captivated by a vibrant and energetic cultural and rhumba dances, rhymes and a Christmas choir that truly captured the spirit of the season.

Thank you once again to you our parents and teachers for getting the children this far. We look forward to the year to come. 🎉

Our students took part in sports events, quizzes, and debates alongside our friends from Emmanuella School of Excellence — showing great teamwork, school spirit, and determination every step of the way. We’re so proud to share that our school emerged victorious, bringing home prizes in both the academic quiz and debate categories! 🏆👏

A big thank you and congratulations to everyone who participated and cheered — you made us proud! And a massive thank you to Emmanuella School for partnering with us once again. Our learners truly enjoyed connecting, sharing ideas, and challenging themselves in the spirit of growth and fun. Our dear learners stepped into the shoes of their future selves for Careers Day! ✨
From doctors and nurses to police officers, soldiers, and more — the children proudly wore costumes that showcased their dream careers. It was wonderful to see their excitement and confidence as they shared what they want to be when they grow up.

Shekina Learning Centre took part in a community Tag Rugby Event with support from visiting instructors from the UK, Tag Rugby Trust (TRT). Tag Rugby promotes physical development, teamwork, discipline and confidence. 🏈

This partnership helps us grow sports in Chilanga and gives our children global exposure and new opportunities.
