Computer Science is not only about programming. If someone finds programming difficult, it does not mean they cannot succeed in Computer Science. There are many other areas in the field where programming is not the main focus. For example, a student can work in networking, cybersecurity, system administration, database management, or IT management. These areas also play an important role in technology and offer good career opportunities.

Digital Safe Limited Shares
On Facebook, a new caricature trend has swept across timelines, friends are swapping their profile pictures for cartoon versions of themselves, laughing at exaggerated noses, big eyes, and playful distortions. At first glance, it feels like harmless fun, a creative way to stand out. But behind the humour lies a story many don’t see.
Every caricature begins with a photo upload, often to third-party apps or websites that promise instant transformation. What most people don’t realise is that these platforms may quietly collect and store the original images. Your face, one of the most unique identifiers you own becomes part of a dataset that can be sold, shared, or used to train facial recognition systems. The caricature may look silly, but it’s still based on your real features, and cybercriminals know how to exploit that.
Some apps even ask for access to your Facebook account, dangling the promise of “easy sharing.” With one careless click, you might grant permission to view your contacts, messages, or personal details. Once that door is open, it’s hard to close. And even if you delete the app later, your data may already be stored permanently on servers you’ll never see.
The story of the caricature trend is really a cautionary tale: what starts as a laugh can end as a loss. In the digital world, every viral challenge is a trade-off. The question is whether the fun is worth the risk.
