They suffered a 2-1 defeat to Spain at Stade de Boulevard in Marseille.

Tournament's top scorer with 6 Goals, Soufiane Rahimi, opened the scoring for Morocco in the first half, but two second half goals from Fermin Lopez and Juanlu Sanchez gave Spain the victory.
