WHO WE ARE
Nzelu Academic and Profession Center(NZELU) is an educational institution with highly qualified teachers from National and UNESCO accredited colleges and universities that aims at imparting wisdom, knowledge and understanding by offering life-long academic and vocational learning to respond and meet the current and future needs of our learners at all levels following a blended-learning curriculum taking into cognizance of the market needs of the country and world at large hinged on Christian values.
WHAT WE DO
We follow the Zambia Education Curriculum Framework (2013) and the Educational Act (2011) which stipulates the provision of education that raises the holistic development of all individuals and promotes the social and economic welfare of the society. This requires following the national educational policies that value and promotes a multifaceted development of learners with their unique needs to fully participate in the national and international economic, cultural, and social affairs. We aim at providing a stage in liaison with the Ministry of Education where citizens will lead useful lives, considering their knowledge base and skills appropriate to their age, social and economic roles and the intricacy of the modern world and the environment in which they live not negating the cultural and intellectual heritage imbibing the knowledge, skills and values transferred to future generations. We are aware of the rapid change in knowledge, skills and technological developments which are considered in our educational programs to measure up to the required needs and standards in a modern world.
With this backdrop our school have three academic programs for Lower Primary, Upper Primary and Adult Education preceded by Pre-Primary education. As the school develops further, it will venture into offering secondary school educational programs based on the Zambian Educational Curriculum employing a blended-learning approach.

In addition to the above, Physical Education and Music are part of the extra-curricular activities that are offered at NZELU for primary and later, secondary education. All learners will participate in Clubs and Associations, Sports, Preventive Maintenance and Production Units which are part of the school curriculum.

LOCATION
NZELU is situated in small holding community of Chilanga along Musikili Crescent whose young children had to trek long distances to go to the school in the Chilanga mainstream town often reaching the school exhausted and risking their lives passing through bushes and the only main road riddled with heavy trucks bringing quarry stones for the cement factory in Chilanga. With NZELU within the vicinity of the community, children now spend less time to walk and arrive at the school with energy and alert to attend lessons. To even lessen the burden on our school children, NZELU has made available a bus to pick up and drop off the children.
The Adult Education on a Part Time Basis was designed considering that the school is in the Small Holding Farming block, to fill the skill gaps among the adult community for them to be able to monitor or assist with their children’s learning and upgrade their skills in the areas identified above. Adult education will also add value to their daily business ventures.

Game wire fenced and fully electrified sitting on a 7.85 acreage of land.
