QUALIFICATIONS
• Grade 12 Certificate
• CERTIFICATE in Early Childhood Education/ Pre – School Teaching

QUALITIES
•Should be able to work under minimal supervision.
• Compassionate
• 23years and older
• Have a valid National ID
• Must be willing to go through training
• No criminal record or mental disorder as will be dealing with babies.
• You take safety seriously.
• possesses skills that will excite kids
• good numerical, grammatical and spelling skills
• the ability to develop good working relationships with children, parents, and carers
• good teamwork skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Enjoy the company of young children and being committed to helping them in there needs
• Good creativity.
• Excellent organizational skills; the ability to plan the day and respond to the individual needs of every child.
• Patience, enthusiasm and a caring nature.
• No criminal record.

Benefits of Play Therapy

Play therapy gives children who are having a hard time communicating verbally to express themselves through play activities. For instance, a child who refuses to speak might instead draw or paint out their thoughts or needs.
And eventually helps children build up their communication and social skills with time. After several sessions, a child who wasn’t speaking might start to utter several phrases.

It creates a space where a child will feel comfortable being themselves instead of other more traditional forms of psychotherapy.
It allows the child to take charge of their therapy process. Effective play therapy allows the child to use toys and mediums they are most comfortable with and go at their own pace.
