Good energy

There was once a software engineering student pursuing a degree at the Zambia University of Technology in Ndola, who was lucky enough to have an amazing girlfriend from Lusaka. They met when she was in grade 8 and he was in secondary school, and despite the distance and challenges, they've been inseparable ever since.

Years have passed, and he's now in his third year of the degree program, while she's in grade 12. They both call Lusaka home, but his studies take him away from her for six months at a time. He stays at school for a semester, pouring his heart into his software engineering projects, while she remains in Lusaka, supporting him from afar.

When she decided to visit him during his break, he was overjoyed. But he had a competition on Saturday and told her to take a bus, not realizing it would take so long that she would sleep on the bus. He was hurt thinking about her uncomfortable journey, but when she arrived on Sunday, she didn't even complain about it. Instead, she smiled and hugged him, happy to finally be together.

She spent her days cooking delicious meals for him, bringing him thoughtful gifts, and encouraging him to work smart and hard on his software engineering projects. She was his partner in every sense of the word. She even helped him make an advert video, which she proudly posted on her social media.

Together, they explored the campus, attended church, and even took a dance class together. Her positivity and energy were infectious, and he felt grateful to have her by his side. He admired her unwavering dedication to their faith, her ability to always find joy in the midst of challenges, and her inspiring work ethic.

He was in awe of her beauty, inside and out, and her kindness towards others. She had a heart of gold, always putting others before herself. He felt so grateful to have her as his rock, his confidante, and his best friend.

But when it was time for her to leave, he couldn't bear the thought of saying goodbye. He was overwhelmed with emotion, afraid to drop a tear in front of her, so he did what he had to do - he walked away, trying to hold it together. He didn't want her to see him cry, but he couldn't help but feel the ache in his heart as he watched her disappear into the distance.

As he looked back, he knew that their love was strong enough to withstand distance and time. He looked forward to the day when they could tie the knots together and start their new life as one.

And that software engineering student is actually... me! I just wanted to say thank you, my love, for being my everything. I promise to always cherish and love you, no matter what life brings our way. You deserve all the love and happiness in the world, and I'm honored to be your partner in this journey called life.
