What a wonderful World Book Day celebration at Trident Prep Lusaka! πβ¨
From our tiniest learners in Little Ants all the way through to Year 6, the school was filled with imagination, colour, and some truly fantastic book characters. Our learners made such a special effort to come dressed as their favourite characters, bringing the magic of stories to life throughout the day.
The teachers joined in the fun too, and it was lovely to see the whole school community celebrating the joy of reading together. Days like these remind us how powerful books are in inspiring creativity, building confidence, and sparking a lifelong love of learning.
We are so proud of all our learners for embracing the spirit of the day and making it such a memorable celebration of stories and imagination. π

Yesterday, the U9 boys competed in an invitational tournament at the Italian School. They played a total of five games, recording one draw and one win. We are extremely proud of their sportsmanship and positive attitude throughout the day.
As their first tournament of the year, it was fantastic to see the team begin to gel as the day progressed. By the final matches, their growing teamwork led to some exciting passages of play.
We wish them all the very best for Fridayβs tournament!

π² Exploring Number Bonds to 5! ποΈ
Our Nursery children have been busy discovering all the different ways to make 5! Using counters, fingers, and number bond mats, theyβve been experimenting, counting, and finding fun combinations that make up the number 5.
Through hands-on play and exploration, the children are beginning to understand that numbers can be made in more than one way β for example, 2 and 3 make 5, and so do 4 and 1! Itβs been wonderful watching them think, test, and share their ideas with such excitement. π
