🌍🦻 HAPPY WORLD AUDIOLOGIST DAY TO ALL AUDIOLOGISTS THAT ARE SUPPORTING OUR PROGRAM.
A New Generation of Audiologists. A Brighter Future for Hearing Healthcare in Zambia. 🇿🇲
Today, as we celebrate World Audiologist Day, we at CREED College are filled with hope and excitement for the future of audiology in Zambia.
We envision a future where highly skilled, well-trained, empathetic, and compassionate audiologists are trained right here on Zambian soil, equipped not only with clinical excellence but also with a genuine heart for service.
Audiologists who will serve in hospitals, schools, communities, rehabilitation centres, and diverse healthcare settings. Professionals who will listen with empathy, care with compassion, and transform lives through better hearing healthcare.
At CREED College, we believe that great audiologists are not only defined by what they know, but also by how deeply they care.
We look forward with great anticipation to welcoming and nurturing a new generation of homegrown audiologists who will make a lasting difference in Zambia and beyond.
The future of audiology in Zambia is full of promise, and we are honoured to be part of shaping it.
Happy World Audiologist Day to all audiologists around the world! 💙

Before Audiology Had a Place in Zambia 🇿🇲👂🏾
When Dr. Alfred Mwamba returned home from university as a qualified audiologist, he came back with knowledge and skills that Zambia desperately needed — but there was a problem: audiology was not yet widely understood or recognised as a profession in the country.
Finding employment was incredibly difficult.
He knocked on door after door, explaining what an audiologist does, why hearing healthcare matters, and why Zambia needed trained professionals dedicated to preventing, identifying and managing hearing loss.
This old newspaper article tells part of that story. The headline read: “Alfred Mwamba: Medical prophet rejected locally.”
But he didn't stop knocking.
What began as a struggle to simply have the profession understood became years of advocacy, training and building awareness around audiology and hearing healthcare.
And today, as we work towards training the next generation of audiologists right here in Zambia through CREED College, it is humbling to look back and remember where this journey started.
Sometimes you have to fight for people to see the value of something before they can understand its importance.
The doors that were once closed helped create a determination to open doors for those coming behind. 🇿🇲❤️

At CREED College, our vision goes beyond offering a degree. We are working toward something much bigger: a sustainable audiology workforce for Zambia and Africa.
We envision locally trained professionals who will not only care for patients, but also become practitioners, educators, researchers and leaders—building the profession for generations to come.
Our goal is to strengthen Africa’s capacity from within: training degree-qualified audiologists, developing future lecturers and clinical supervisors, producing research that reflects our own hearing-health realities, and nurturing professional voices that can help shape standards across the region.
This is more than education. It is capacity building. It is sustainability. It is the future of hearing healthcare in Africa.
CREED College — training today, transforming hearing healthcare for generations.

CREED’s bigger vision, not simply graduating audiologists, but building a profession that can sustain itself in Africa for generations.

“May your diamond forever remain elusive, for it is in the pursuit of it that excellence lies.”

At CREED, the diamond represents the highest version of ourselves—the standard we continually strive toward. It is not simply about arriving; it is about the discipline, growth, learning, and determination developed in the pursuit.

The diamond remains elusive because excellence has no finish line.
