EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY

Jasperstone College of Applied Sciences and Technology is a Zambia Private owned College situated in the capital of southern Province (Choma) registered by the Zambia Counselling Council, Health Care Givers Association of Zambia and working in Association with Mansfield University.

The College offers Diploma programmes and short certificate courses ranging between 3 and 6 months.

JCAST is looking for well qualified and suitable professionals to fill up the follow vacant positions;

1. Position; Vice Principal (1)
- Qualifications; Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a Post Graduate in teaching Methodology and atleast 3 years experience in a management position with a reputable institution and a minimum of 3 years teaching experience. A degree in any Educational Programme is welcome. Must be Zambian and aged between 35 and 40

2. Training Manager (2)
- Qualifications; Bachelor's Degree in Computer Studies, IT or any Educational Programme. Must be Teveta accredited and certified trainer.
3. Lecturers
a) Computer Science (1)
Qualifications; Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science with a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience.

b) Business Studies (2)
Qualifications; Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a post Graduate in teaching Methodology and 3 years of teaching experience.

c) Computer Studies (2)
Qualifications; a minimum of a diploma in computer studies with atleast 2 years of teaching experience. Must be Teveta Accredited.

4. Administrative Assistant (1)
- Qualifications; A minimum of a diploma in secretariat or business administration with atleast two of working experience in a related position.

I warmly greet you all members of staff, our valued new and old students respectively.

It is with a gladdened and joyful heart that I take this special opportunity to welcome you all to today's, 9th of May 2024 orientations and most importantly our new students to Jasperstone College of Applied Sciences and Technology.

Like an old expression goes, "a house that doesn't receive visitors is a cursed one". Well Jasperstone College is exhilarated-happy today that you are not only visitors but you have made a decision and choice to join the Jasperstone College community of students to stay with us.

This gesture indicates that your names are now part of the history being recorded in the books of JCAST and shall be remembered forever.

To our new students, with gratitude in my heart and soul, I welcome you all to JCAST family and admonition you to be at home.

It is now a fact that JCAST will be your home for the next three months. During this important duration in your life and the college, management expects you our dear students to be at your best behavior and well disciplined both academically and socially.

May I take this opportunity to assure you all that our team of professional members of staff is more than willing and ready to assist you in any way possible academically should you encounter any challenges.

I encourage and advise you to make use of us and we will be more than glad to render our services and transfer the adequate and on demand knowledge to you wholeheartedly.
