RICHES IN CHRIST

‎The word riches is one of the most abused or misinterpreted words in scripture. Many people always associate riches to material blessings.

EPHESIANS 3: 8
‎Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ; (KJV)

‎In 2Corinthians 8:9 say that “For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.”.

‎The poverty and riches in this text are not about material or money, it is about how Christ became poor by his humanity and death and the riches here are about all that became ours as the result of his resurrection.

‎Apostle Paul was using what Christ did to teach generosity or sacrifice in giving.

‎The inheritance of the believer is also called the riches in Christ.
‎These riches can also be qualified as the riches of his glory, the riches of his grace or the riches of Christ.
‎None of the riches in Christ talks about material or financial prosperity.
‎Unfortunately, anytime some people hear riches, their minds go to money or things. Money or material riches is not part of the believers' inheritance in Christ.
‎When we say inheritance or riches in Christ, we mean all that became ours as a result of the death, burial and resurrection of Christ from death.
‎That means we would not have gotten them if Jesus didn't die. Riches in Christ is exclusive to the man in Christ.

‎They are things you can only have except you believe the gospel, such as forgiveness of sins, eternal life, the indwelling of the Spirit etc.

‎There are some good things God has made them available to all men irrespective of faith in Christ. Such as financial prosperity, good health or healing, long life, good marriage, academic excellence, natural talent or skills. Jesus did not die so that we can have them.
‎We could have them without him dying. The riches in Christ are received in full and equal measure at salvation. No believer is spiritually blessed or richer than another.

‎I am blessed with all spiritual blessings in Christ.

‎Ephesians 1: 3- 18,
‎Colossians 1: 27,
‎1Peter 1: 3- 5

FASTING IS NOT FOR THE BODY, DON'T STARVE YOURSELF TO DEATH

“Fasting Is Not For The Body, Don’t Starve Yourself To Death”
CORRECTIONS ON SOME MISCONCEPTIONS REVOLVING AROUND THE BODY OF CHRIST, don't deprive your body of food in the name of fasting to GAIN POWERS.

EACH time you eat in the morning, it is called breakfast because you have fasted over the night.

However, RELIGION made us believe that fasting is staying away from food. Daniel’s fast in the Bible as an example saying, It was recorded Daniel fasted 21 days I ate no pleasant food, no meat or wine came into my mouth, nor did I anoint myself at all, till three whole weeks were fulfilled." Daniel 10: 2-3 and he ate no pleasant bread. That means he ate bread. Fasting is like eating food without meat; not because you don’t have the meat but you decided to fast away the meat.

YOU can fast your mobile phone, television and work by shutting them down. Each time you fast without reading the BIBLE, you are on a HUNGER STRIKE.

“Fasting is a discipline that enables you to concentrate on your fellowship with God. Many people believe they FAST FOR POWERS, No. YOU SHALL RECEIVE POWER AFTER THE HOLY GHOST IS COME, Acts 1:8 KJV not after fasting. Fasting doesn’t kill the flesh, the flesh is a way of thinking. Deal with your way of thinking and stop starving yourself to death.

“Your body is the Temple of the Holy Ghost, stop punishing it. It has been bought with a price, don’t abuse it. Treat it well, eat well, sleep well and get some rest. There are things that are more important than food”.
*FASTING*

*What is FASTING? And why FAST?*

*DR ABEL DAMINA*

1 Samuel 15:22...And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.

You cannot serve God on your own terms...You can only please God when you know and do/act on his word.

The sin of disobedience is as idolatry, and rebellion as witchcraft.
To claim to serve God outside his word is rebellion.

Therefore, we act on God's word as He(God) wants it to be done.

Fasting is to abstain from food, Water inclusive. For food is anything you take in.

Fasting from the old testament;
The Old and New testaments have similarities in the essence of practices. Eg.; Giving.

Giving in the old testament is seen in Tithing and it was mandatory or defaulters would be cursed. In the new testament, giving is as we have been prospered.

2 Corinthians 9:7-8
1 Corinthians 16:2
Galatians 6:8-10
Ephesians 4:28
Acts 20:33-35
Acts 2:4
2 Corinthians 9:8-10
In the new testament, we have no requirements to give. We give what we decide, cheerfully and without grudge. Our giving is a reflection of our prosperity.

In the new testament, it is more blessed to give than to receive. No percentages, we give generously. We give because God has given us not so that he(God) can give us in return. We give in love and by faith.

Thus, the old and new testaments differ in how and why we do what we do.

2 Samuel 12:15-16
David fasted to seek God. A sign to appeal to God for the sin he's committed. Also in Ezra 8:21-23, Isaiah 58:6-9, Nehemiah 1:3-4, Joel 1:14, Joel 2:15-16..., they all fasted to get God's attention for him to do something for them.

Man's fall in Genesis 3 was his separation from God. And since the fall, man began to seek for God through many sacrifices and offerings to appease and get God's attention.

Hebrews 11:4, Genesis 6-7-8...All these were done in search for God, until Jesus came.

Man always sought a medium to get God's attention, until Jesus' arrival. When Jesus came, he needed no medium to offer himself to God.

Matthew :17-18, Galatians 3:13...Christ fulfilled the law in the offering of himself. Romans 20:1-4.

CHRIST is the fulfillment and end of the law. Galatians :11-13, 1 Corinthians 6:11, 1 Corinthians 1:29-31.

In the new testament, our sanctification and righteousness is a person. We received him by believing the gospel, not because we fasted.

We have a right standing with God, even before we knew how to fast and pray. Hebrews 3:1, Hebrews 2:10-11, 1 Corinthians 1:2.

The believer is a saint and is sanctified.
We are not saints because we are without wrong or because we don't do wrong, but because we were declared saints by God himself. Ephesians 2:19-21

We are saints, and we're being perfected.
It is not the perfection that makes us saints but I am a Saint and so I am being perfected. Ephesians 4:11-12, Ephesians 1:3-6, Ephesians 1:7-8.

God accepted us and declared us saints in Christ, when we believed the gospel.

Jesus is the sacrifice for sins, not prayer or fasting. We (In Christ) did nothing and do nothing to seek God's face.

We have the face of God...2 Peter 3:12.
We own God's face...Hebrews 13:5, Matthew 28:18, John 14:16.
And God's face will never be apart from us. God lives in us, by His spirit Forever.

If you seek God's face by fasting, you're sinning...It's the sin of unbelief.
Remember, anything not of faith is sin.

However, Jesus fasted, but not to seek God's face.
God was already pleased in him...Matthew 4:2, Matthew 3:17.
Jesus also never fasted for anointing. He's been anointed with the Holy Ghost and power.

Jesus' fasting was rather for Consecration to the ministry upon him on the earth.

Thus, we believers don't fast for power, God's face or anointing. We have all of those in us. We don't even fast for protection. We're Eternally secure in Christ.

We fast for communion, devotion and intimacy with God. We don't have communion with God to get him to love us, It is for us to know him more, to know how much he's loved us more.

We fast to walk in the fellowship we already have in Christ and not to seek fellowship.
Fasting, like faith, deals with us and not God. Romans 8:32.

FASTING benefits us, not God...Matthew 6:16. Fasting is not to make God see us...Luke 18:19. Fasting is not for show off. John 5:33-35, John 16:19-22.

Fasting is on us. To help us to be effective. It has no spiritual benefits where God is concerned. Acts 13:1-3

James 5:16...Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual "fervent" prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

Fasting is part of "fervency".

We know the answers to all our prayers, we know the Father's will because we have the mind of Christ. So we pray from Answers, knowing that whatsoever we declare comes to pass. Matthew 11:33

BLASPHEMY_AGAINST_THE_HOLY_SPIRIT.

For so long people has misquoted the statement.
Listen..

Mark 3:28‭-‬29 KJV
28 Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme:

29 But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation:

All human sins were already forgiven on the cross as Jesus said. The death of Jesus Christ is the death of sin and the resurrection of Christ Jesus is the proof of the World's forgiveness.

Jesus said all blasphemies of men against God shall also be forgiven as well. Every evil word men spoke against Christ out of ignorance were all forgiven on the cross already.

However, he said there's one blasphemy that can never be forgiven but such is in the danger of eternal damnation.

Take note, he said a blasphemy against the Holy Ghost. What is the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost?

First of all, you must know who is the Holy Ghost and why He is here. The Holy Spirit is the teacher of Christ and He is here to give men salvation or eternal life as they accept His teachings, for His teaching is the power of God unto salvation to whosoever believes through the saints (Romans 1:16-17). That's the only reason why the Holy Spirit is here.

To blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is to reject Him by saying there's no Jesus. Is to stand against faith in Christ. It's to say you don't need any salvation because salvation is a false message.

How?

It's the Holy Spirit who holds your salvation. He is the one who will give you eternal life. So rejecting him is rejecting eternal life and embracing damnation. That's why Jesus said such is in THE DANGER OF DAMNATION. He never said such is already condemned because he knew such can change his or her mind later like Paul.

Listen to Paul:

1 Timothy 1:12‭-‬14 KJV
12 And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry;

13 Who was before A BLASPHEMER, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.

14 And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.

No amount of mocking or evil-speaking against the gospel can stop you from being born again when you awake to the faith as long as you are alive. Therefore, anyone who dies without Christ in his blasphemous words, blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. For such is condemned for he or she died without eternal life which is the Spirit.

Above all, if just blasphemous words against the Holy Spirit can stop someone from being born again, Paul wouldn't have been saved. It's to die without eternal life after all your mocking against truth in this life.

To blaspheme against the Holy Spirit is to reject His report about the Son of God. It is to deny the existence of Jesus Christ. Doing that is making the Holy Spirit a liar because He is here to testify of Jesus Christ! So when you deny the existence of God, you blaspheme.

1 John 2:22‭-‬23‭, ‬28 KJV
22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.

23 Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.

SALVATION IS REST, NOT A RACE*

‎To be saved is to have entered rest.
‎You're not trying to make heaven at last — you're already seated with Christ in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6).

‎Galatians 5:1
‎“Stand fast in the liberty wherewith Christ has made you free.”
‎Many are in Christ but still carry religious burdens from pulpits that mix law and grace.

‎Jesus took your place so you could take His.
‎He was united with sin and spiritual death so you could be united with life and God.

‎Hell is where the spiritually dead go.
‎Jesus went there for you — and He didn’t come out alone. He brought you out with Him.

‎The Holy Spirit is in the Word — not separate from it.
‎Jesus didn’t raise Himself by power displays — He raised Himself by quoting Scripture.

‎Romans 10:9–10
‎"Believe in your heart… Confess with your mouth… You shall be saved."

‎The cross was not a wrestling match with Satan.
‎The battle was legal — a divine exchange:
‎Sin for righteousness.
‎Death for life.
‎Condemnation for acceptance.
‎Abandonment for union.

‎Acts 2:27 | Psalm 16:10
‎"You will not leave my soul in hell..."
‎Jesus went into hell, but spoke the Word there, and the Word raised Him up!

‎The cross was a place of shame, reserved for criminals.
‎Jesus took that shame, so you will never be ashamed.

‎ Romans 10:11
‎“He who believes in Him shall never be put to shame.”

‎This is not religion, this is your reality in Christ.
‎You're not fighting to be saved, you are saved.
‎You're not hoping to make heaven, you’re already seated there.

ENOCH AND ELIJAH ALL D!ED!

JOHN 3: 13:

And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. (KJV)

We have explained that the scriptures must be interpreted in the light of Christ. Everything recorded in the scriptures must be judged by what Jesus said and what was recorded in the epistles.

The prophets had partial knowledge of God. Therefore, they were not fully accurate in some of their utterances. Many people have interpreted the record about the faith of Enoch in Hebrews 11: 5 “By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God” to mean that Enoch was raptured to Heaven without dying. If you pay attention to this text, the word heaven is even absent. It is an error to infuse heaven to it,

The author of the book of 2kings also recorded about Elijah in 2kings 2:11 that he went up by a whirlwind into heaven. This also appears to be saying that Elijah was raptured or taken to Heaven without dy!ng. If these people went or ascended to Heaven without dy!ng, then it contradicts what Jesus said in our opening text.

The author of the book of Hebrews who talked of the faith of these two elders emphatically said in Hebrews 11: 13 that “These all d!ed in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth”. This implies, all the elders mentioned in Hebrews 11 died.

The author goes on to verses 39 and 40 to say that, these elders could not achieve perfection without us. This means they could not achieve resurrection or immortality before Christ who is the firstfruit of our resurrection.

This corroborates what Jesus said in our opening text. Elijah and Enoch were not raptured to Heaven. Christ is the firstfruit of our resurrection and not Enoch or Elijah. Flesh and blood or mortality cannot enter Heaven. It could be that the author of the book of Kings had a partial revelation of God or our interpretation of those texts was inaccurate. There are various interpretations to these two people, but our study today is to establish the truth that Enoch and Elijah all died in faith.

Declare: I am growing in the knowledge of the scriptures. Thank you, Jesus.

Stop comparing yourself. Everyone is on a different path.

The Tyranny of “Should”

Comparison is a thief of joy. It not only steals your joy; it also negatively affects your emotional well-being, disrupts your peace of mind, and compromises your overall health. Comparison whispers a list of “shoulds” in your ears: “You should be more successful,” “You should have a better job,” “You should give this vibe,” “Act this way, speak that way.” This constant measuring of your life against others creates a cycle of discontent. You become so busy trying to live up to an external standard that you lose sight of the unique person God created you to be.

In 2 Corinthians 10:12, Paul writes, “For we dare not class ourselves with or compare ourselves to those who commend themselves. But in measuring themselves by themselves and comparing themselves among themselves, they are not wise” (NKJV). This is a direct warning against what you probably do every day. When you compare, you’re not being wise; you’re basically looking at someone else’s test and wondering why your answers don’t match.

God’s plan for your life is a bespoke creation, not a one-size-fits-all. In Galatians 6:4-5, Paul says, “Each one should test their own actions. Then they can take pride in themselves alone, without comparing themselves to others, for each one should carry their own load” (NIV). Your “load” is your life, your gifts, your experiences and your journey. It’s a weight meant for you and you alone. You’ll find it impossible to carry your own purpose while also trying to measure someone else’s.

How do you break free from this cycle and begin to embrace your unique sauce?

We learned from the Pastor in the video that Jesus Christ came to fulfill the Law by dying, burying, and rising from the dead, thereby freeing man from the Law.

According to the Pastor, God now lives in us through His son, Jesus Christ, Colossians 2:8-9.

The pastor believes these rituals are ‘plain nonsense’ according to Paul because they were practiced while mankind was still under the Law. He also added that it has become a tradition among men.
Pastor Abel Damina: “This tradition among men is what Paul tagged Idol fancies or plain nonsense: just like first fruit, just like tithe, practicing them as if you are under the Law. This is because the Law is fulfilled and shouldn’t be thought of again.

“Because one person is doing it doesn’t make it right. The Book of Christian practice is the Bible, it is not ‘one-man there did it so let me do it’. In Colossians 2:9, all the fullness of God dwells in Christ, not in bread and wine. The fullness of God is in a person, it is not in a ritual. Verse 10 of Colossians 2 says the completeness of God is in Christ.

“No ritual is required, no types and shadows are required. The New Testament is not a Testament of the handkerchief as Mantle, it is not a Testament of Olive Oil as anointing, it is not a Testament of Water Baptism as symbolic to the death, burial, and resurrection, it is a Testament of reality.

“Our anointing is a person and He lives in us; our mantle is a person, He lives in us, our bread and wine is a person, He lives in us. Therefore, Jesus is the Oil, Jesus is the Mantle, Jesus is completeness of a deity in a bodily form and you are complete in Him.”

GRACE BASED GIVING vs MERCHANDISE

“And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not." 2 Peter‬ ‭2:3‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father's house an house of merchandise.” John‬ ‭2:16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The Epistles which are the rightly divided word of truth and the revelation of scripture instructs us on discernment against fraud in the name of giving to God. We do not give to be blessed, we give because we are blessed. “Now the Lord had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee: And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.” Genesis‬ ‭12:1-3‬ ‭KJV‬‬
Blessed to be a blessing.

“Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.” 1 John‬ ‭3:16‬ ‭KJV‬‬
We are born of God so we imitate Him.

“For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.” 1 John‬ ‭5:4‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.” 1 Peter‬ ‭1:23‬ ‭KJV‬‬
Because we are born of God, giving is our DNA. And because our father, God gives naturally, we give naturally too!

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John‬ ‭3:16‬ ‭KJV‬‬
“And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.” Romans‬ ‭5:5‬ ‭KJV‬‬

So like our father, we give, not expecting to receive. “But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.” Luke‬ ‭6:35‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Jesus is not a means to an end! Find out in this video!

GRACE MAKES US RESPONSIBLE BELIVERS🥰💯👌🏿

GRACE MAKES US RESPONSIBLE*

‎*GALATIANS 5:1*
‎*Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bo***ge. (KJV)*

‎Everything about Christianity is based on what Christ has done on our behalf. We are saved by grace through faith in what Christ has done,

‎Ephesians 2:8, “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God”. Our peace, justification, power, and anointing are all based on Christ’s finished work, Romans 5:1, “Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ”. The term finished work of Christ has been so misunderstood by many Christians to the point that to them, they don’t have to do anything because they are under grace. This is due to improper teaching and study of God’s word. We have the finished work of Christ, and we have the ongoing work of Christ. The opening text tells us that our role as Christians is to stand fast in the liberty given to us through the finished work of Christ. This means we have the responsibility to stand. It speaks of an activity or an engagement.

‎That is, we have to stand in prayer, we do evangelism, we do the studying, we do the casting out of demons, we do the fleeing from youthful lust, and we have a responsibility to love one another. What Jesus finished on our behalf was to deal with sin which was the problem of the entire human race. Hence, we are saved by grace through faith and that is not of ourselves, it is the gift of God. Based on that, our responsibility as the saved ones is to make known to the whole world what Jesus has done. Grace makes us responsible. We are saved to serve or work. It is ignorance to use grace as the reason not to be responsible. Jesus did not finish all prayers He did not finish evangelizing the whole world. It is also wrong to live anyhow or put up sinful conduct because of grace. It is also wrong to dishonour ministers of the gospel or people in authority because of grace.

‎There are things Jesus did not finish that we must deliberately do as believers. The finished work of Christ does not mean we have nothing to do. The finished work of Christ has not canceled fasting and prayers. It has not canceled giving or holy conduct. We must therefore be responsible believers and not hide behind finished work or grace and live an irresponsible life. Any believer living an
‎irresponsible life has not understood grace. Grace is not a license to laziness and an irresponsible lifestyle. If your understanding of the grace of God has taken away your prayer life, evangelism and submission to church authority and instructions, then you have not understood grace. You have been wrongly taught.

‎*Grace has made me responsible in the area of prayer, evangelism, walking in love, studying to show myself approved unto God, and walking in faith, hence, the finished work of Christ is advanced.*

‎*2Timothy 2:15, 1John 4: 7- 12, 1Thessalonians 5:14- 22

Before you start your ministry, get both oil and wine.

The oil represents the anointing of the Holy Spirit. The wine represents the intimacy, joy, and fellowship of His presence. Together, they form the lifeblood of ministry. Oil empowers you to work for God, but wine sustains your love for Him. Oil equips you to stand before men, but wine keeps you kneeling before Him. Oil makes ministry effective, but wine makes it enjoyable.

The oil gives you divine backing. It makes demons recognize you. It makes words pierce hearts. It makes doors open without explanation. Without oil, ministry becomes motivational speaking. With oil, it becomes divine surgery. Fresh oil does not come cheaply. It is pressed out of crushing, like olives in the press. That means sacrifice. That means hidden prayer. That means obedience when no one is watching. Many want the oil but despise the crushing that produces it.

If oil is power, wine is passion. Wine is that overflowing love for God that intoxicates your soul. Wine keeps you singing at midnight like Paul and Silas in prison. Wine makes you dance like David, even when mocked. Wine keeps your spirit fresh in dry seasons.

Ministry without wine is dangerous. Oil may give you a platform, but only wine keeps your heart alive on that platform. Oil may draw crowds, but wine keeps you from resenting them. Oil may help you cast out demons, but wine will stop you from becoming a demon yourself. Wine is birthed in intimacy. It flows when you linger in worship, when you talk to the Holy Spirit like your closest friend, when you weep in His presence without asking for anything. Wine is the smile of heaven that keeps your soul steady in storms.

Men and brethren, before you start ministry, cry for both. Don’t just desire power; desire presence. Don’t just hunger for results; hunger for relationship. Ministry is not first about what you do for God — it is about who you become with Him.
