Becoming a pilot takes more than simply learning how to fly.

You'll develop an understanding of aviation theory, navigation, meteorology, aircraft operations and safety, while building the practical skills and judgement needed to become a confident pilot.

At Aero Academy, your training combines classroom learning with hands-on flight experience, giving you the foundations to progress towards your Private Pilot Licence and beyond.

Places for our October intake are now open for students 17 years or older upon qualification, aviation medical certificate (Class 2), grade 12 certificate. The Private Pilot Licence course is $21,332 that includes the ground school and around 50 hours of flying in a Cessna 182.
