REBUKE IN LOVE πŸ‡ΏπŸ‡²

We are living in a genaration that resists correction yet desires growth. But growth cannot happen where truth is rejected. The Word of God says, Open rebuke is better than hidden love (Proverbs 27:5). That means correction, though uncomfortable, is an expression of love it is care for one’s soul. However, for correction to be effective, the heart of the one giving it must be right. There is a great difference between a self righteous critic and a Spirit led rebuker.

Judgement speaks from pride, but correction speaks from compassion. Judgement seeks to expose, embarrass, and condemn; correction seeks to restore, heal, and strengthen. The difference lies not just in the words used, but in the spirit behind them. When Jesus corrected people, He did so with truth and mercy. He never excused sin, yet He always offered redemption. He was firm with the proud and gentle with the broken. His goal was always restoration, not humiliation.

Sadly, some believers approach correction with arrogance, forgetting that they too are in need of grace. Others, out of fear of being misunderstood, keep silent even when the Spirit urges them to speak truth. Both extremes are dangerous. The Body of Christ needs balance, truth and love, boldness and humility, firmness and compassion.

WHY DID YOU STOP TALKING TO GOD?

Many people have stopped talking to God because they misinterpreted His silence, His ways, or His timing. They thought God had to think and act the way they would, or that His love meant He would always do what they expected. But the truth is, (my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways), declares the Lord. (As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts) Isaiah 55:8-9

God does not see as man sees; while we see pain, delay, and loss, He sees purpose, growth, and eternal good. Many approach God like a man to be persuaded or a system to be decoded, thinking if they pray long enough, cry hard enough, or behave well enough, then God must act according to their formula. But God is not bound by emotion or human pressure; He is bound by His Word, His love, and His perfect will.
