Little Miss Intellect Zambia joins the rest of Africa in appreciating our rich culture, heritage, resilience and the spirit of togetherness that binds us as one people.

As young leaders and future change makers, we remain committed to promoting unity, education, climate action and sustainable development across our communities.

Today reminds us that together we are stronger and together we can build a peaceful, empowered and prosperous Africa for generations to come.

Today we celebrate our beautiful Little Miss Intellect Zambia 2024 Queen and SDGs Ambassador Muntai Namusunga on her special day. 👑✨ so many impactful memories to share❤️

We love and deeply appreciate your invaluable service to the organization. As she continues to reign Muntai and her dedicated team have successfully led the first-ever LMIZ initiative project Kubelenga na Kulima climate awareness project bringing members together through reading, gardening, financial literacy and climate awareness. 🌱📚

Through this initiative, they helped support reliable water access at Edwin Mulongoti Primary School in Matero helping ensure clean toilets and improved sanitation for the school community in 2026.
We are proud that their consistent gardening and reading activities for climate awareness received a Community Awareness Award at the Butterfly Kids Climate Fair 2025. Their work not only brought water to the school’s sanitation facilities but also positively impacted over 2,300 pupils and the surrounding community.
This was made possible through a grant awarded to their parent organization, Child Youth Intellects for Change, which supported the installation of a solar-powered water system commissioned in February 2026.
In March 2026, the project also proudly won 3rd place at the Butterfly Kids Climate Action Fair, showing that young leaders can truly create meaningful change. 🌍

Your 11th birthday is a powerful reflection of children at the frontline of climate action, service and leadership.

Little Miss Intellect Zambia is proud that its 2025 climate awareness initiative, “Kubelenga na Kulima” implemented in collaboration with Edwin Mulongoti Primary School, has won 3rd Prize at the 2nd Butterfly Kids Climate Action Fair 2026 on Tuesday 24th March 2026 bringing the trophy home to the school. 🏆
This achievement builds on the project's earlier success. In 2025, Kubelenga na Kulima was recognized with a Special Community Awareness Award at the first-ever Butterfly Kids Climate Action Fair.

What started as a project to promote reading culture and climate-smart gardening among pupils has now grown into a powerful example of youth-led climate action supported by the solar-powered water system funded by the Japan Water Forum to partners Child Youth Intellects for Change which now provides reliable water for the school and the surrounding community.
We celebrate the pupils of Edwin Mulongoti Primary School for their dedication and leadership in turning learning into action for a healthier and more sustainable future.
