We pay tribute to a truly exceptional educator and leader as we celebrate the retirement of our very hardworking Headteacher Mrs Simfukwe, who officially retired on 31st December 2025 after an outstanding 40 years of dedicated service, 5 years as a civil servant and an incredible 35 years at Luanshya Trust School.

Throughout her remarkable career, she served not only as a Headteacher, but also as a mother, mentor, and role model to many. She will always be remembered for her hard work, fairness, kindness, understanding, and caring leadership. Her commitment to excellence and her genuine concern for learners, staff, and the entire school community have left an indelible mark on Luanshya Trust School.

Her legacy will live on in the lives she has touched, the standards she upheld, and the strong foundation she leaves behind. We are deeply grateful for her years of selfless service and the wisdom she generously shared.

Below are moments captured from her farewell party held on 9th January 2026, a beautiful celebration worthy of a life devoted to education and service.
