𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗷𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝟯𝟵𝟰

​On August 5th, 2026, the Grade 5 to 7 classes had an inspiring historical field trip to Chilenje House 394 in Lusaka. This national monument served as the home of His Excellency Dr. Kenneth Kaunda during the vital years leading up to Zambia’s independence.

With a guided ​touring, from January 1960 to December 1962, this humble house was home to Dr. Kenneth David Kaunda, who would later become the first President of the Republic of Zambia. It was from Chilenje House that Dr Kenneth Kaunda led the brave struggle for our nation's independence on 24 October 1964.

They learned about Dr. Kaunda’s remarkable journey as the founding father of our nation, his dedication to unity under the motto "One Zambia, One Nation," and the courage of those who fought for our freedom.

Experiences like this help build strong character, cultural pride, and a deeper understanding of where we come from.

Remembering the Father's of the Nation

"Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn."

Involvement is core value of everything we do. Yesterday, our Grades 2 to 4 pupils spent an inspiring and educational day exploring Zambian Presidential Embassy Park in Lusaka.

As we toured through the honored ground and sites, pupils had a rare opportunity to learn about the life and legacy of Zambia’s Excellencies late presidents. History came alive as our jovial guide shared stories of sacrifice, leadership, and unity.

And of course, we had to capture the moment.
We gathered in front of Dr. Kaunda’s monument, and we posed for photos at the monument of His Excellency Dr. Kenneth Kaunda as the tour guide anchored, "APA Grades 2 to 4 were here, and here is the proof."

As APA Management continuous to strive to do what is best for your children by blending academic excellence with real-world exposure, we can't do without our parents and guardians and APA community at large, thank you ❤️.

Learning about our late presidents is history that will be shared for generation to come.
