President Edgar Lungu has noted with disappointment that adherence to Covid-19 has been poor.
To this effect, President Lungu has directed the closure of pre, primary and secondary schools for 21 days.
The Head of State also directs that colleges, universities and all tertiary education institutions will offer online lessons only.
Masking up in public places will be mandatory
Restaurants will operate on takeaway basis and all conferences and workshops suspended until further notice.
The President further directs bars and nightclubs will operate Friday to Sunday from 18:00 to 22:00 with law enforcers instructed to ensure enforcement.
All measures come into effect tomorrow Thursday 17th June, 2021 at 06:00 hours

Lets talk Rejection/ Disappointments. ☺
Have you been good to people or your partner? Have you gone beyond your limits just to ensure you and them are 'good'? I have too 😁
Have you been rejected by your partner's family? Have you been sidelined even after pushing for that project to work? Have you been good to that friend when they were facing challenges and as soon as all was well; they wanted nothing to do with you, like you are bad luck now? OK the list is endless 😂
Look at this 👇 When you have been TRYING to make things work but they still reject and disappoint you, thank God and move on- They are pushing you to better blessings!
God sees the end from the beginning, so Trust Him for allowing those people to disappoint you. He is taking you where you will be appreciated and celebrated 💃 It will be beautiful.
