Morning highly esteemed chemical society membership this notice serves to information you that we are now taking orders for the shirts that is

1. CORPORATE SHIRTS
We currently have two colors in
consideration white and blue
going at 270 for subscribed
members and 290 for
unsubscribed members.

2. ROUND NECK T-SHIRTS
The color options for these
shirts are white, blue and
black. These shirts are going
at k180 for subscribed
members and k200 for
unsubscribed members.

3. GOLF SHIRTS
Unfortunately at the moment
we are not taking orders but
we will communicate soon
when we will begin taking
orders, the idea is we what to
first do away with what we

On behalf of the cucs executive I wish to announce that today we had a very interactive meeting with the sophomores from INDUSTRIAL CHEMISTRY, BIOCHEMISTRY and CHEMISTRY MAJOR, this meeting was held for the soul purpose of selecting Class Reps and giving guidance on what to expect as they take on this new journey. *Good evening* , I’m glad to share with you that I attended the *2025 Chemical Sciences Indaba under the theme “Accelerating the Economic Impact of Chemical Sciences through Innovation, Collaboration, and* *Industrialization* .
We were not given an opportunity to present but we were given a chance to ask questions and give suggestions and as your representative I asked on how an entrepreneurial pathway to move from a lab discovery to a registered complaint chemical startup for students would be made possible and that the chemical society of Zambia should support student led venture incubation hubs with access to small scale pilot facilities and clear regulatory guidance, we had one of our students ask about the mentorship programs and they said they will give us feedback as they have to discuss as a team.
Discussions like partnering the academia and industry through collaboration in order to develop our curriculum and to stop being heavily reliant on theory were welcomed.
