Today we are officially launching DrKeziHealthLine, an online health triage desk.

Founder’s Story – DrKeziHealthLine
My name is Dr Kezi, and the idea for DrKeziHealthLine began with a simple but powerful question. One day, after attending a training on antimicrobial resistance (AMR), I reflected deeply on the growing problem of medication misuse in our communities. I asked myself, “How can I help reduce antimicrobial resistance and prevent the dangers caused by incorrect medication use?“

In my daily work, I saw many patients who had taken antibiotics, painkillers, or other medications without proper guidance. Some pregnant women unknowingly used medications that could harm their babies. Others delayed going to the hospital, hoping symptoms would pass, only to arrive later with more serious conditions. I realized that many of these problems could be prevented if people had access to quick, reliable medical guidance before reaching a health facility. That is how the idea of an “Online Health Triage Desk” was born. DrKeziHealthLine was created to give people a safe place to describe their symptoms and receive professional guidance on what to do next—whether that means safe home advice, avoiding harmful medications, or going immediately to the right health facility. For example, a child with seizures needs urgent medical care and should not be delayed at home. A patient with persistent abdominal pain, vomiting, and constipation should be directed to proper medical evaluation instead of wasting valuable time at a pharmacy. My mission is simple: “To reduce harmful medication use, prevent delays in treatment, and help patients reach the right care at the right time.“

DrKeziHealthLine is not just a service—it is a response to real problems I have witnessed and a commitment to improving how people access safe healthcare advice.
