Today was more than a tour. It was a lesson in humanity 💙
We visited St. Mulumba Special School and learned so much about special needs education.
It was humbling to see how lessons are adapted for each learner’s pace and ability. The dedication of the teachers and the resilience of the learners reminded us that ability goes far beyond hearing or speaking. Their joy in learning challenged our own ideas about what “progress” really means.
We were also privileged to meet the Provincial Education Officer, who has training in special needs education. Speaking with him gave us a bigger picture of how inclusion is being pushed at policy level across the province. His insights on training teachers and supporting schools like St. Mulumba really inspired us to think beyond the classroom.
Thank you St. Mulumba, for the welcome and the lessons. We left with fuller hearts and a stronger commitment to inclusion.

It was amazing to learn from the veteran of Nkrusesa Association, the former minister of Disability and indeed the former Kwame Nkrumah University student.
Mr Malama shared types of cerebral pulse and a detailed story of how he pushed hard academically from primary till now, he graduated with a Distinction at Kwame Nkrumah University💃💃
He further encouraged everyone that "if I with cerebral pulse managed to get a Distinction, you too, you are capable of getting a Distinction as well".
