Today, the Mulungushi University Students Union, under the Office of the Acting President, held a constructive dialogue with the University Vice Chancellor and Management on infrastructure development, student accommodation, water and power supply, Moodle challenges, and the welfare and security of students living off-campus.

With major projects progressing and commitments made to address pressing student concerns, MUSU remains committed to ensuring that students’ voices are heard and their needs addressed.

We will continue to engage, monitor progress, and advocate for a better learning environment for every Mulungushi University student.

Visit and fix Agenda !!
We have seen the complaints, we have heard the criticism and all that has to be said, as a ministry and a union we have seen that sitting and receiving messages from you our students has less impact this is why starting this weekend will start our visit and fix campaign working hand in hand with our member of council will start this hostel to hostel campaign this is to ensure that we see and take action and also keep our students accountable for everything that will be worked on.

Our able information minister will be giving updates on places visited and tasks worked on.

But our first visit will be at the sabbaticals ❤️

Earlier today, we attended the launch of the University Integrity Committee, an important initiative established to promote integrity, accountability, transparency, ethical conduct, and the prevention of corruption within our university.

The launch marks a significant milestone in the university’s commitment to strengthening good governance, upholding institutional values, and fostering a culture of integrity in the ex*****on of its mandate.

The event was attended by university management, members of staff, Her Excellency Ms. Nkandu Jessica-Musu, Acting President, Ms. Namitasha, Speaker of the SRC, and Ms. Ngosa, Deputy Speaker of the SRC.

Our participation in this important event reaffirms the commitment of student union leaders to actively representing students and advocating for their interests in all matters that may positively or negatively affect their welfare and academic experience.

As student leaders, we remain committed to promoting accountability, transparency, and good governance while ensuring that students’ voices are heard and their concerns are adequately represented in decisions that shape the university community.
