One thing I have learnt from my church is that we are very good at speaking volumes to the Leaving and not the Living. The posts I have seen flying around over Pastor Mwenya Chanda from yesterday has ignited a deep thought.
This man was bed ridden and the family was up and about caring for him in hectic financial blues yet now people are willing to donate for his funeral and cover miles to mourn him. God help us to change this unfortunate narrative!

Happy Sabbath

When we rely solely on ourselves, we limit the incredible things God can do in our lives.

3:5-6 beautifully captures the essence of a life submitted to God. It instructs us to:

Trust in the Lord: This is the foundation. When we trust God, we acknowledge His sovereignty and goodness in our lives.
Not lean on our own understanding: We surrender our limited perspective and embrace God's infinite wisdom.
Submit to Him: This is a daily practice of aligning our wills with God's will.

Overflowing
Think of a cup. When it's empty, it readily accepts any liquid poured into it. But a full cup has no space for more. Similarly, a heart overflowing with pride and self-sufficiency leaves no room for God's grace and direction.



Here's how we can live out this message:

: Thankfulness keeps us grounded and reminds us of God's blessings, even in prosperity.
: Recognize your limitations and God's constant presence.
: Spend time in prayer, reflection, and scripture reading, keeping your heart open to His guidance.

By staying close to God in every season, we ensure that our cup overflows with His love (God’s love not human self-centered love) and that we are always receptive to His will for our lives

Planted awaiting resurrection morning. It is a good night 💔💔💔😭😭😭😭. A million thanks to the overwhelming moral support. I felt so cared for by my people. ❤️🙏

Burial for the late Mr. Aaron Choongo Ntambo will be on Sunday, 17th March, 2024.
