My Journey as a Teacher in Kabompo

I’m a teacher currently serving in Kabompo, Northwestern Province, and this experience has been a beautiful journey of stepping outside everything I’ve known. Coming from Livingstone and having experienced different parts of Zambia, moving to a rural community has definitely been a culture shock—but also an opportunity to learn, grow, and appreciate a different way of life.

Being here has allowed me to connect with learners, share knowledge, and hopefully make a meaningful difference in their lives. Beyond the classroom, I’m excited to explore and share the roads, culture, traditions, everyday life, and unique experiences that come with being a teacher in a village.

This is more than just a posting—it’s a chapter of growth, purpose, discovery, and impact. I’m excited to see where my journey in Kabompo takes me. ❤️
