A CHILDHOOD STOLEN
Some children are not asking for expensive things.
They are simply asking to be noticed.
Child negligence does not always leave visible scars. Sometimes it is the child who is never listened to, never guided, never protected, or never shown love. A neglected child may grow up feeling invisible in a world that should have cared for them.
And then there are the street kids…
Children sleeping in cold places instead of warm homes. Children begging at traffic lights instead of sitting in classrooms. Children learning survival before they even learn childhood.
No child dreams of living on the streets.
No child chooses hunger, rejection, or loneliness.
Behind every street child is a story. Poverty, abuse, broken homes, neglect, or abandonment. They are not criminals; they are children who need compassion, protection, and opportunity.
As a society, we must do better.
A child’s future should never depend on luck.
Let us protect children.
Let us listen to them.
Let us guide them.
Because every child deserves love, safety, education, and hope.

Child Negligence & Street Kids: A Silent Emergency
Every child on the street is not a criminal.
Not a nuisance.
Not a mistake.
They are evidence of broken systems, broken homes, and a society that looks away too easily.
Child negligence doesn’t always come from hatred. It often comes from poverty, irresponsibility, selfishness, addiction, silence, and the belief that “someone else will take care of them.” But the result is the same: children raising themselves in the streets.
Street kids sleep hungry, go to bed on an empty stomach, walk barefoot through danger, face abuse, exploitation, sleep in cold uncovered, and grow up learning survival instead of love.
Yet we judge them when they steal food, sniff glue, or beg. Forgetting that hunger has no manners.
A nation that ignores its street children is postponing its own crisis.
We need:
Responsible parenting, Community accountability, Strong child protection systems, and Compassion instead of condemnation.
Saving a child is not just the government’s job, it is a moral duty for all of us.
If we do not protect children today, we will fear the adults they become tomorrow.
Let us stop normalizing child neglect.
Let us stop blaming children for adult failures.
Let’s do better.
