Family Fun Day 2025!!!

We hosted our Annual Family Fun Day on 24th October, 2025. The event is open to, not only our FCS community but, the entire Choma community and attendees showed up in large numbers. We would like to appreciate everyone who made this event an even bigger success this year: Our PTA executive, various vendors, parents, guardians, pupils and entire Choma community.

We had so many fun activities for the children and the entertainment from Morris the flutist and Authentic Choreography Dance Group had parents and children on their feet and dancing along.

We are extremely grateful for support and already looking forward to planning and hosting next year’s event.

From the 26th to the 28th of October our Grade 6 pupils travelled to Lusaka for a school tour. They spent 2 nights in the capital city and had the opportunity to tour the National Assembly; to learn more about its functions and processes. They also visited Kalimba farms to learn about reptiles. Some of the learners were brave enough to hold them😬

We are very grateful for the continued support we receive from the parents towards our annual out of town tours which help our learners gain exposure and a practical perspective to what is taught in the classroom. The overnight trips also give the learners a sense of independence, for many it’s their first time experiencing a night away from home.

The school, in partnership with the PTA, will be hosting an annual Fundraising Family Fun Day at Vintage gardens on the 24th of October, 2025. Presale Tickets are being sold by our facaulty and can also be purchased from our admin office. Presale tickets are K50 only. This event is open to the public, come through for lots of fun and entertainment for both the children and parents 🙏🏾

On 17.10.2025 we held a combined graduation ceremony for our Reception learners graduating to grade 1 and Grade 7 learners preparing to sit for their final examinations to move on to form 1.

It was a colorful event which began with a march past where our older graduands marched through the streets of Choma, from the Post Office to the School Campus in Mochipapa. The March symbolized the steps they are taking towards their future.

The combination of the 2 graduating classes was to remind our grade 7s of how far they have come and to continue on with the hard work as their younger siblings were looking up to them. It was also a way to inspire the reception graduands of what lies ahead of them when they put in the hard work and complete their primary education.

We are excited to introduce a new PE Kit for our learners which is currently being sold at the school admin office. All sizes are available.
The jackets have a thick inner lining making them perfect to keep warm in the cold season and a nylon hooded top which makes them perfect for the rain season aswel.
The green golf shirt and black shorts are branded with the school logo and are sold as a set while the Jackets are sold separately.
Parents are encouraged to secure a kit for their child as soon as possible 🙏🏾
