Anglican Diocese of Eastern Zambia I came that they may have life and life in its fullness, John 10:10 The diocese is found in the Eastern province of Zambia with its Diocesan Office in Chipata.

The Anglican Diocese of Eastern Zambia is one of the 5 dioceses in Zambia and a diocese found in the Church of the Province of Central Africa. Chipata City is the Provincial Capital of the Eastern Province. The province has a population of about 1.7 million covering 8 districts. The diocese has 11 parishes spread through out the province. The diocese was curved out of Lusaka diocese in June 1995 w

hen Bishop John Osmers was elected the first Bishop of the Eastern Diocese. Bishop John Osmer, a New Zealand served the diocese from 1995 to February 2003 when he resigned after reaching the retirement age. In 2003 the Electoral college met in Chipata to elect Bishop John Osmers' successor, and Bishop William Mchombo, former Dean of St. Luke's Cathedral, Msoro was elected as the Second Bishop of the diocese.

Highlights of the Monday's Signing Ceremony for Grant Development Partnership between our own Kachere Development Programme (KDP) and Smiles for Everyone USA Foundation at Protea Hotel in Chipata. The project will provide an opportunity for the Anglican Diocese of Eastern Zambia through its social development arm of Kachere Development Programme implement a Community Development Based model for Oral/Dental Health services for vulnerable communities in hard to reach areas in Eastern Province of Zambia.
Kachere becomes the pioneer of this project in Zambia and Zambia has become the eleventh country globally to implement this model.

Mission of God Continues
Today we had a great opportunity to welcome our potential partner to Msoro's St. Luke's Mission Zonal Health Center and St. Francis' Mission Hospital Katete. The visit was meant to facilitate the field appraisal for the upcoming development plans to upgrade St. Luke's Mission Zonal Health Center into St. Luke's Mini Hospital, Msoro.
We are grateful to our team from both Diocesan Synod Office, Msoro Anglican Mission Station and St Francis' Mission Hospital Katete for engagement towards realizing this dream under the Project Title: St. Luke's Beacon of HOPE Project
