SOCIAL IN*******SE ON FIRE, NAKONDE TEACHERS DOMINATE AND ISOKA LEFT BREATHLESS.

"Passion, pride, and fierce rivalry lit up Easter Monday as teachers traded chalk for balls and left the crowd spellbound"

7th April,2026

By Chief Chishatama

Easter Monday in Nakonde turned into a festival of passion, pride, and competition as Nakonde hosted Isoka Chalkbreakers in a series of thrilling social in*******se games. Teachers from both districts left their classrooms behind and brought their A-game to the courts, fields, and volleyball arenas, delivering unforgettable moments for the crowd.

Nakonde stamped their authority early in netball, completely dominating both categories. In the gents match, Nakonde cruised to a commanding 20–0 victory over Isoka, displaying sharp coordination, relentless attacking play, and flawless ex*****on. The ladies followed suit with an equally impressive performance, dismantling Isoka 21–2,asserting their dominance and leaving fans cheering for every point.

In volleyball,Isoka bounced back with determination, narrowly edging Nakonde 2–1 in a tightly contested encounter. The visitors showcased resilience and strategy, proving that even in defeat elsewhere, they could fight to claim glory.

The ladies’ football clash was a nail-biter, ending in a 2–2 draw. Isoka Chalkbreakers Queens opened the scoring, but Nakonde responded before halftime to level matters. The second half saw Isoka briefly regain the lead with a classy finish, only for Nakonde to strike back with a sensational equalizer, cutting celebrations short like a brief street romance in Mpika or Matumbo area in Shiwangandu. Nakonde skipper Muchaila Miriam praised the intensity of the game, noting it was a valuable learning experience for both teams.

The men’s football match, saved for last, delivered drama, skill, and excitement. Nakonde secured a 4–2 victory over Isoka after dominating the first half. Chewe Chisanga stunned the crowd with a spectacular free kick from the center circle, sparking cheers and disbelief,Fans jokingly suggested that even coach George Lwandamina should take note after Zambia’s tough loss to Argentina.Bernard “Saidy” Mwansa added a precise second goal, before Kaonga Martin extended the lead to three, giving Nakonde a commanding halftime advantage. At halftime,Isoka teachers looked shaken like businessmen robbed of their Rice capital at No Man’s Land. But the second half told a different story.

Isoka returned in the second half with fire, scoring through Isaac Chansa and Chapman Musowoya, nearly turning the game. But Nakonde sealed the win with a fourth goal courtesy of Chewe Chisanga. Importantly,Nakonde ESO GI Chibuye featured in the last 15 minutes, showing sparks of brilliance, injecting energy and creativity that helped close the match in style.

By the final whistle,Nakonde had emerged as the dominant force across most disciplines, particularly in netball and men’s football, while Isoka proved their resilience, especially in volleyball and the second half of the football match. Easter Monday in Nakonde was more than just a series of games,it was a celebration of talent, rivalry, unity, and the fiery spirit of teachers turned athletes.

In a closing statement, the Nakonde Chalkbreakers chairman Moses Mbulo expressed his gratitude; "We thank all players, teachers, and fans from both districts for making this day memorable. Let this spirit of healthy competition continue to inspire us in future games.Together, we grow stronger, on and off the field."
Isoka ESO GI Oswald Mumba, who led their delegation, also gave open remarks, stating:
"We are proud of our players and the sportsmanship displayed today. Nakonde hosted us with warmth and excellence, and we leave with valuable lessons and renewed motivation for future encounters."
