Educational Tour to ZAFFICO Station 🌲📚
Our secondary learners had an enriching experience during their recent tour of a ZAFFICO station! They explored the fascinating world of pine and eucalyptus plant growth, gaining firsthand knowledge about cultivation and processing.

A special thank you to Mr. Chishala, the ZAFFICO officer, for the insightful interactions and for making the learning experience both fun and memorable for our students.

What a blast from the past! 🕺💃 Our students and staff turned back the clock and brought the retro vibes to life with their fabulous vintage outfits and groovy attitudes. From classic styles to timeless tunes, the day was filled with laughter, nostalgia, and unforgettable memories.

Don Bosco College Celebrates Graduation and Kicks Off Jubilee Celebrations!

On Friday, Don Bosco College proudly held its graduation ceremony, celebrating the achievements of its students. The event also marked the beginning of our Jubilee celebrations—a time to reflect on our journey, honor our legacy, and look forward to the future!

🎓✨ Our 4th Graduation Ceremony ✨🎓

On December 3, 2024, we celebrated our 4th Graduation Ceremony in a vibrant and inspiring event. As is tradition, the day began with a solemn Mass led by our guest of honor, Fr. Chris K***a, SDB. Esteemed clergy members, including Fr. David (School Principal), Fr. Joachim, Fr. Eugene, Fr. Venon, and Br. Bernard, also graced the occasion.

Under the theme "Building the Future with a Dream in the 21st Century," the ceremony reflected our commitment to holistic education. We were honored to host representatives from DEBS and generous award sponsors—Indo Zambia Bank, Mining Haulage, Round Table, GABS, CMK, Garnets, and many others—who supported us in making the event memorable.

We encouraged our graduates to strive for more than academic success, reminding them to remain humane and use their education to create positive change in their lives and communities.

Embracing Technology at Don Bosco Technical Secondary

Today, our classrooms were buzzing with gadgets as students engaged in lessons that embraced the power of technology! 🎉 Under a controlled and supervised environment, our learners explored the benefits of ICTs, integrating them into their studies in constructive and exciting ways.

Yesterday Monday 05th August 2024, Don Bosco Technical Secondary School held an interactive and educative insaka program for Boys and Girls under the theme; *Together , We Achieve More* .. Pupils were accompanied by their Parents/ Guardians .
The program had two sessions; morning session from 09:00hrs to 13:00hrs for Boys and afternoon session from 14:00hrs to 17:00hrs for Girls.A number of topics like health, social relationships and financial management were discussed by different facilitators from different sectors..
A number of parents talked to commended the school for coming up with such a good program which will enable pupils make informed decisions about their well being and the future.

The program also exposed learners to different information, Skills and experiences for the betterment of their future and society.

In his homily before the commencement of Teveta, G.C.E and mock exams, Fr David urged pupils to live a pure life, led by the holy spirit in order to achieve their purpose on earth. He further wished and blessed pupils,G.C.E candidates and college students in their exams .

Celebrating 30 Years of Priestly Service: Fr. Eugene

Today, we joyfully celebrated Fr. Eugene's 30 years of dedicated priesthood, a true testament to his unwavering commitment as a Salesian of Don Bosco. This special occasion also coincides with the remembrance of the martyrs of Poland.

In his homily, Fr. Njolo emphasized the need for and importance of good friends. He reminded both learners and staff to be good friends to others and, in turn, to choose good friends themselves.
