School Closure Notice – 3 & 4 June

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We apologise for the inconvenience caused by the sudden school closure. The safety and wellbeing of our learners, staff, and families remain our highest priority.

In line with the directive received from the Head of Department, and in the interest of learner safety, Westering Primary School will be closed on Wednesday, 3 June, and Thursday, 4 June.

We understand that this may create challenges for families, and we appreciate your patience, understanding, and cooperation during this time. We kindly request that all parents and guardians adhere to the instructions issued by the Department of Education and avoid sending learners to school during the closure period.

Any further updates will be communicated through the school's official communication channels as soon as they become available.

Over the past weekend, our u9 and u10 girls and boys mini-hockey teams participated in the Gryphon-Herbie Mini-Hockey festival hosted by Herbert Hurd.

Well done to all the teams who participated.💙

Our Grade 4 learners have been exploring the wonderful world of the water cycle in Natural Sciences and Technology this term! 🌦️

As part of their learning, they created beautiful projects depicting the water cycle, and we were blown away by the creativity, effort, and enthusiasm shown in every project. ☁️🗻
