To the dynamic youth of Goldfields TVET College,

Today, as we commemorate the 50th anniversary of the 1976 Soweto Uprising, we stand on the shoulders of giants. We remember the bravery of those who raised their voices for equality and a better education, proving that the youth are the heartbeat of a nation.

At Goldfields TVET College, you are the living legacy of that sacrifice. You are the reason we continue to fight for quality skills development and accessible higher learning. This Youth Day is not just a public holiday; it is a call to action.

Let the spirit of 'Amandla Awethu!'—The Power is Ours—remind you that your voice matters and your skills are the tools to build the South Africa we all envision.

To our students:
Be fearless in your pursuit of knowledge. Be bold in your ambitions. You are not just preparing for a career; you are preparing to lead. The challenges of today are the opportunities of tomorrow, and you are equipped with the resilience and talent to overcome them.

Happy Youth Day, Goldfields!
Never forget where you come from, but always believe in where you are going. The power to shape our future is in your hands.
