HTS Welkom THS

Technical High School took 1st place in Bloemfontein Eskom Expo for young people on the 9th and 10th of May in Bloemfontein. This was a competition open to all Free State schools. They won a cash prize of R10 000 for the school.

They built and modified a water filter project.

The 2 participants is Deputy Chairperson of the RCL named Lihle Xaba and assisted by matriculant Nkosi Kutyunga.

Please note that the Grade 8 and Grade 9 classes will be dismissing at 11am tomorrow morning due to union meetings.

A photo taken of our matrics who recently went to watch the Othello play in Gauteng. This will aid them for their exams. Thank you to Mrs Balios for the arrangements
