Subject: URGENT: Fake Message Regarding School Closure

Dear Parents and Guardians,

It has come to our attention that a culprit has circulated a fake message claiming that there will be no school at Riebeekstad High School tomorrow (11 August 2026).

Please ignore this message. It is false.

School will proceed as usual tomorrow. All grades are expected to start at 07:25.

This official communication is issued by the Principal, Mr. J. Wehl.

We look forward to seeing all learners tomorrow.

Tennis League Debut – A Performance to Be Proud Of!

Our tennis team played their very first league match against Sandveld.

Although we narrowly lost, the team delivered an impressive performance that promises an exciting season ahead.

Final Score:

Sandveld: 34

Riebeeckstad High: 32

Match Results:

* Singles: Won 23-21

* Doubles: Lost 9–13

A special congratulations goes to our Group 1 Doubles, who secured a fantastic 7–4 victory.

An outstanding individual performance came from Oratiloe Moleko, who dominated her singles match with an incredible 10–1 win, making a significant contribution to the team’s overall score.

For a team making its league debut, this was an exceptional effort. The determination, sportsmanship, and resilience shown by every player are something to celebrate. We are incredibly proud of our team and look forward to seeing them continue to grow throughout the season.

Well done, team! The future looks bright. Go RHS!
