What an incredible achievement for Vaal Triangle Academy! We could not be prouder of our learners! ❤️💛

📣 OUR CHEERLEADERS 📣

Our incredible Cheerleaders received a GOLDEN BUZZER 🏆✨ AND A GOLD, earning them the amazing opportunity to represent SOUTH AFRICA in NEW YORK CITY! 🇿🇦✈️🇺🇸

Our Cheerleaders were the 2024 Overall Primary School Cheerleading Winners, and once again they showed exactly why they deserve to be called champions! 🏆

But this achievement means even MORE because of what they overcame.

Just days before their performance, the lady who created their uniforms sadly suffered a stroke.

We desperately tried to find a seamstress to assist us, but unfortunately, we could not secure one in time.

With only ONE DAY to prepare, our learners had to perform in what the school could provide.

And you know what?
THEY DIDN'T GIVE UP.
THEY DIDN'T MAKE EXCUSES.
THEY STEPPED ON THAT STAGE AND PERFORMED! 🔥

You showed everyone that:

✨ It is not the clothes that make the Cheerleader.
✨ It is the dedication, resilience, courage and TALENT that make the Cheerleader.
