🔔 Arts Organisation Support Funding (AOSF) – NOW OPEN

The National Arts Council of South Africa (NAC) invites registered arts organisations and companies to apply for three-year Arts Organisation Support Funding.

🎭 Eligible Disciplines

Craft • Dance • Music • Visual Arts • Literature • Theatre • Multi-discipline

🎯 Key Focus Areas

Funding supports programmes that contribute to:

Social cohesion & nation building

Marginalised & indigenous arts

Addressing social ills

Supporting vulnerable groups

New works & digital arts

Capacity building & arts entrepreneurship

Projects must show clear community impact, including job creation, arts development, and access to the arts, with strong encouragement for initiatives involving women, youth, and persons with disabilities, especially in historically disadvantaged areas.

💰 Funding Phases & Amounts

Foundation Phase (1–5 years): up to R500,000 per year

Intermediate Phase (5+ years): up to R750,000 per year

Established Phase (10+ years): up to R1,000,000 per year

⚠️ Important Eligibility Notes

Organisations that received NAC 2025 Project Funding are NOT eligible

Successful AOSF beneficiaries cannot apply for Project Funding or PESP during the three-year period

Only organisations with proven capacity, governance, and compliance will be considered

RE-OPENED: Call for Proposals: Grants for Co-creation of Heritage Narratives in Southern Africa.
We are inviting non-profit, non-governmental organisations in Botswana, Eswatini, Lesotho, Namibia, South Africa and Zimbabwe to apply for grants under the Africa-Europe Partnerships for Culture: Southern Africa

Selected organisations will lead narrative clusters by collaborating with artists, creatives and communities to develop projects that bring heritage to life over 15 months.

📚 DAY 2 WAS A BLAST! 📚
The energy at the International Storytelling Children's Bookfair was incredible! Today was all about connection and discovery. The highlight was the Daniela Book Launch, where Daniela not only launched her book but also read it aloud, captivating every single child. The best part? Seeing our young readers interacting with Daniela, asking brilliant questions, and walking away with signed copies to treasure in their home libraries!
