Exponents part 2 ✨

Now we put everything from part 1 into practice and work through some examples step by step.

If you’re still feeling unsure about the laws of exponents, go back and watch part 1 first — this will make much more sense after that.

If you want the extra practice sheet I mentioned in the video, comment “exponents” below and I’ll send it through 👍

If you are a Gr 9 learner getting around 40-60% in maths and want to IMPROVE - My Maths program is PERFECT for you! I share weekly notes, practice exam questions WITH a full step by step memo (explaining how we get to the answers we do) AND a short video where I explain the work step by step. If you're interested DM me more for information 🌟 Time and spots are limited.

In Part 3 in Algebraic fractions, Siyanda asked: "How did you change the denominator on the third term?"

In this video I explain WHY 🌟 This is a great maths trick to understand !

Keep your questions coming. Let's face maths together and make it less daunting 💡

"How fast will I improve?"

That's the question I get all the time.
The truth is, improvement doesn't come from being naturally smart. It comes from consistency, effort, and showing up even on the days you don't feel like it.

Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard. 🌟

If you struggle with geometry, it's usually not because you're bad at maths — it's because the foundation was never built properly.

Think of geometry like a house. If the first layer isn't solid, everything on top starts to feel shaky & confusing. This series (Geometry foundations) fixes that first step.
In this lesson I'm showing you the easiest way to find angles using the "funky X" method. Once this clicks, geometry becomes much easier.

Save this if geometry confuses you — you'll need it later

Angle types you need to know👇🏼
• Acute (< 90°)
• Right angle (90°)
• Obtuse (90°-180°)
• Straight line (180°)
• Reflex (180°-360°)
• Full revolution (360°)

•Adjacent angles: share a common vertex & arm (angles are at the same point)
•Supplementary angles: = 2 angles = 180 degree
•Complementary angles: = 2 angles = 90 degrees

You've got this 🌟 Part 2 on triangles coming next 📣

Algebraic Fractions Part 3/3 🌟

In this video we move onto the final (& most challenging) example in this algebraic fractions series.

💡If you missed the previous videos I suggest you watch them first... This builds your foundation - and makes the more challenging examples easier to grasp 🌟

If you're studying Mathematics, this will help you practise an important exam skill.

Perfect for:
• Grade 10 Maths
• Grade 11 Maths Revison
• Grade 12 Maths Revision
• Students struggling with algebraic fractions

Comment what you need help with next 👇🏼

(PS. I have Geometry in the pipeline, if you want to me to include anything specific, DM me)

Algebraic Fractions – Part 2 📚

Let’s move on to a slightly more challenging example and simplify it step by step.

If you missed Part 1, start there and then come back to this one.

Example 1 → foundation
Example 2 → building the method
Example 3 → most challenging

Maths becomes much easier when you break it down step by step.

Homework battles are incredibly common in many homes.
But often it's not because a child is lazy or unwilling.
After a full day of school, their brain has already spent hours concentrating, processing information, and managing social and classroom demands.
By the time they get home, their mental energy is simply low.
That's why jumping straight into homework can feel overwhelming.
A small reset after school - food, fresh air, or quiet decompression — can make a huge difference in how a child approaches their work.
Sometimes the solution isn't more pressure.
It's helping the brain recover first.
Save this post to try these ideas after school this week, or share it with a parent who might need it.

In your corner, Bee
