"HOW ONLINE COURSES CAN HELP YOU FIND A JOB"

Online courses are basically good for adding up to your CV.
Nowadays people are constantly finding new ways and solutions to do almost anything.
To learn simple basic things or even advanced skills.
You can also do it without actually paying anything or even enrolling on any institution. Though some how it is advised to do so.
Regardless, Online learning turned out to be the thing nowadays.
To be honest, 60% of people who take online courses see improvement in their career journeys. Not because they take online courses.
The reason is they give themselves a chance to stand along with highly qualified people for job opportunities.
You might be asking your self What about Experience?, Qualifications and stuff.
Lets break it down here..

For example:
Precious (34) is a single mother. She has 2 kids and has no stable monthly income.
She loves cooking. She wishes one day to run her own Catering, Restaurant or Event business.
She decides to watch YouTube videos in learning more how to cook better. It’s been 2months since she started learning.
She sees progress in how she cooks, her family and friends are loving her new recipes. But that wasn’t enough. She still had to make money to support her family.
She then took short online courses, from Udemy.com and Alison free courses. She completed them and got her certificate in one of the sites.
Yet still it wasn’t enough. She thought of maybe creating a page and YouTube channel to teach other Mothers out there on how to cook certain kinds of food and new recipes.
Her channels were growing pretty good. Though money wasn’t coming in because she wasn’t actually selling anything. That’s when she decides to create a LinkedIn profile to connect with other food/restaurant business owners, Chefs and all other people in her industry.
Her profile was pretty good. Remember she now has certificates to show to potential employers. As her YouTube and page keeps growing.
She would share her content on LinkedIn. In a month or so she managed to have over +500 connections on LinkedIn.
People were loving her food video content and unique recipes. She now had followers with a little bit of experience she got by her self.
That’s when everything changed for her she created her own online courses, teaching how to cook. She managed to get temporary gigs on events for cooking. Her LinkedIn profile attracted many business people who wanted to hire her, She now had 3 income streams from selling courses, cooking on events and teaching other people.
She now had a “CHOICE” in what she wanted to do with her passion.
The point of this example was to simply show you how online courses play a role in finding you a job, or career.
“YOU DON’T NECESSARILY NEED A JOB TO MAKE MONTHLY INCOME, YOU NEED A SKILL YOU CAN WORK UPON.”
